I was sceptical but my next option was to buy a new Apple Pencil, as I thought there was a chance it had been stolen, so I thought I may as well try this first. I nudged the furniture as it suggested and suddenly the pencil appeared. It took a bit of a wild goose chase to find the pencil but I can say from the bottom of my heart that I would not have been able to find where my toddler had hidden it were it not for the amazingly simple proximity indicator on the screen, letting us know when we were hot or cold. I was honestly surprised at how well this works and given the price difference between this and a new device altogether, this wins hands down.Show lessLittleDDesign

I always fall asleep with my iPad in bed. I usually lean over half sleep and put in my drawer. Well one day my pen went missing and I knew the last time I saw it was the night before, I remembered putting it in drawer but after emptying everything out I still couldn’t find it. My husband told me about this app. We downloaded it and low and behold my pencil was stuck on the magnetic track of my dresser. At first it didn’t pop up but once I got close to the bed and dresser it did so I knew I was close. We pulled every drawer out and at first look missed it but then we spotted it.Show lessSimplycw
I found it!
Lost my Apple Pencil in my bedroom. Knew it was somewhere in there. This app confirmed it was there, so I didn’t waste more time searching for it in a place that it wasn’t. Moved it from place to place inside the room until the little rainbow showed a stronger signal. Than started picking up bags and things and putting them close to my iPad to see if the rainbow signal stayed all the way to the right. I found it in a bag I had searched 3 times before! Ugh! Frustrating! I only had 3% battery life left so thank goodness I found this app in time. The only thing I would recommend to the developers is to make the upside down smiley rainbow signal thing something more stable like a bar graph showing your getting “hotter or colder.” Thanks for saving some of my sanityShow lessBendi's Baby

Excellent App
I spent ages looking for my iPencil 2 so, had no luck whatsoever as it had gone to sleep. I downloaded this app and located it within about 15 minutes of install. I did have to move some items around in order to wake up the iPencil, but once it had woken up it took less than a minute to locate it. Essentially this works very much like the hot or cold game, you move your device around and it tells you if the signal is stronger or weaker until you find it. Well worth the money.Show lessBig Japp
Found my Apple Pencil in minutes
I don’t normally write reviews and was a little sceptical at first on whether this app would work. However after searching the house and thinking I must have left my Apple Pencil somewhere else i thought I’d give this a go after trying a couple of the free apps.
It didn’t detect the pencil at first but the app told me to start moving some things where I thought it might be to activate the bluetooth, which I did with no success.
I then moved my backpack where i keep my IPad and suddenly the pencil appeared on the screen, telling me that it had 90% battery life.
This was odd as I’d already emptied my bag looking for it. I searched again and found the pencil in a fold in the side of the backpack where the lining had come away, hiding the pencil completely. It would have never been found if it was not for the app convincing me that the pencil was activated by my moving the bag.
Saved me £150!
The interface is not the best, could not work out how to go back once I’d selected the first suspected device, but it ultimately found my pencil so all is goodShow lessToppoGolf

Great app
Misplaced my apple pencil, I searched high and low and had almost lost hope, until I came across this app! Bump feature is awesome so I kind of knew the general area the pen was. Lost Apple Pencil for 4 days, but found it with this app.
My Apple Pencil kept showing that it was losing charge and I couldn’t find it. It was down to 2 percent battery and the notification kept coming up, so I knew it was somewhere in my house.
This app was my last attempt. The best feature is the bar which builds up the closer you are to your Bluetooth object. I was able to determine it was at the bottom of a large bag with many pockets I had previously searched twice.
I moved the bag, and got the same results with the app(bar almost full) so I knew it must be in the bag. Almost ripped the bag apart to search and finally found it!
This app was well worth it, and will no doubt prove its worth again(it is far more accurate than apple’s own findmy app) but I suspect apple will one day add this feature natively (looking at you sidecar in IOS 13)Show lessmakasete
Worth the money
I lost my Apple Pencil and been looking for it for a month! It was in my room but I just couldn’t find it. I’ve seen some reddit comments saying that this app actually helps you find it so I decided to try it out... been looking for this for a month and now this app helps me find an Apple Pencil in under 2 minutes?
