OK if….
I bought this app to find my Apple Pencil. However I did not know that the pencil cannot be detected unless it is physically ‘nudged’ to wake it up which will allow the app to detect it. This means that you have know where the pencil is likely to be and then start to move your furniture in the hope that it will nudge the pencil and wake it up. If, as in my case, the pencil had rolled under a sofa, moving the sofa did not wake it up, but it did reveal the pencil to my gaze! Long story short, this app is only really useful for devices that are constantly transmitting Bluetooth signals.Show lessplaggan
Worth it is an understatement!
So I had homework tonight and when I took my laptop and my iPad Pro out of the bag, I realised that the pencil was missing and started panicking. I looked everywhere thrice and could not find it. Finally went on google to see how I could locate my pen then this app came up. Although I did debate on purchasing it because some apps just are a waste of money but this one, babyyyy let me tell you, did its job! It took me less than 3 minutes to find the pen. Thankful because spending another $129 + taxes was definitely not in my budget again. Buy it, seriously. That $4.99 is worth it.Show lessfelhyn
Doesn’t work
Didn’t work. It should at least display your Bluetooth devices that your iPad knows, even if they’re not currently in range, and allow you to play sound if found.klightningk
If you have lost your Apple Pencil, use this app
I have literally never written a review for any app before now. Like many other reviewers here, I lost my Apple Pencil. I searched all the usual places it could be, but to no avail. I downloaded this app as a last resort before resigning myself to spending 200 dollars on another Apple Pencil and literally found it within 5 minutes wedged underneath my couch cushions. Saved me from digging in the garbage
Lost my Apple Pencil while cleaning my room and searched up and down for it until the only other thing I could think was it fell in the big garbage bag I was throwing all my trash in. In a last ditch effort to not have to pull apart that garbage I googled if there was any way to find an Apple Pencil like how you’d do Find My Phone and found this app. Used it to confirm it was not in the garbage bag, then found the signal was strongest when I placed my iPad on an armchair I had already searched all the cracks of. Searched again and finally found the Apple Pencil buried deep near the corner of the cushion. Huge relief.Show lesslfrench94

I think your apple pen needs to have battery power for this to work properly, lucky me my pen always did so I always managed to find it with this when it did get lostnanaykai

Lifesaver!
I couldn’t find my Apple Pencil to save my life and I was very frustrated! I gave in and bought this app even though I didn’t want to. I use my device in one particular spot in my house and I couldn’t locate it without the app. At first, I thought I’d be wasting my money because although my Apple Pencil wasn’t dead, it wasn’t “connected to Bluetooth” technically. Although, the it still showed up under my devices. My pencil was deep in between the chair cushion I sit on, but, I wouldn’t have found it if it wasn’t for this app. I believe it’s a good investment.Show lessOkapi guessing

I lost my Apple Pencil and spent half a day looking for it. I was going to give up and buy another one, but thought to do some research online. I came across this app. I was skeptical at first as didn’t want to spend five quid on something that may not work, but from reading previous reviews I thought to give it a go. At first the app didn’t pick up the pencil connection. But then I started moving things around. Suddenly it connected to the pencil. I moved the iPad around until the black line on the app started closing in. The line was strongest behind the bed board, but I thought to myself, it can’t be there as I check thoroughly before, but the app was basically telling me it was there. So I moved the bed board and to my surprise it was there! It had became lodged between the board hence why I didn’t see it earlier.
