Disappointment

I wanted to backtrack and put in my collection, but it kept saying I could say I collect one console for free and I had to pay for everything else. And, I selected Switch only for me to log Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and then it said I hadn’t made a collection and kept showing me deals of eBay! As if I’m going to buy a game I SAID I ALREADY HAD with 2 other average switch games for over $500. What a disappointment.

No ZX Spectrum

Where is the greatest computer ever.
I need to log my ZX spectrum games

Great app

I’ve used it for years to keep track of my Sega genesis games. It’s the best on the market and well worth the money.

Consoles only

Good in principal but console only. I’d use the app if it had Commodore 64 and Amiga.

Response from developer

Hi, Excellent news, we just added C64 in the latest update. Many more on their way.If you have a list of systems you'd like to see, drop us a line on support@puregaming.org

How do I use the games

This is cool but how do I play the games?

Response from developer

Hi! Our app is a tool for managing game collections, tracking their prices, keeping a budget and much more. It's not possible nor intended to play games with our app.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This app is absolutely amazing. I love its interface. My favorite part is that you can actually add custom games if they don’t have it in their library with your own custom images. The app overall still has some extensive work to do when it comes to graded games; I know this is still new to the contemporary market. Overall, the app has amazing features and interface usage; never glitches out and also has a great catalog for any game that you want to fin. This is better than pricecharting Game prices, but it is really competitive when it comes to pricing I’m not sure what their algorithm is when it comes to pricing but it does use eBay as a friendly user interface widget. Thank you so much for developing this.

Pretty good tool.

Overall I like it, and support response is great.
The interface is not intuitive in some areas but once you work it out, it works pretty well. Take the prices as a guide and hit the ebay button and check sold items once there to get a better picture. But it does ok for the most part.
Makes it way easier when out game hunting to avoid doubling up.
Easy to add and report missing items.

Overall happy (one gripe) UPDATED

I’ve found this app very useful for cataloging my games and overall would 100% recommend it. My only gripe is that they didn’t include the light pen (one of only 2 accessories released for the vectrex) in the vectrex accessories. I’ve got one and would like to be able to catalog it. Very minor thing but other than that no issues. Happy to see the new update adding tiger lcd games.

Update: I’ve upped it to 5 stars seeing as the developers not only responded to my comment on the light pen but actually proceeded to add it to the catalog. Happy to finally be able to add it and would like to thank the developers for actually noticing my comment.

Response from developer

Hi, we added the Light Pen for you (under Controllers). Your app will update automatically, but you can trigger it manually if you want: Open Vectrex, go to the more tab, settings and select 'Price / Rarity update'.Afterwards exit out to the overview and open the console again. Thanks for the feedback!

Great app!

I have 3 different apps for tracking my games, and I have defaulted to just using this one. It’s simple to use, and is great for tracking all of your game collections. I started out with just needing something for my NES games, and after a while, I started using it for all of my video games and consoles. Don’t let any negative reviews dissuade you, they are mostly from people who either can’t read, or too dumb to understand that this is not an app for playing the games… I look forward to future updates, especially for Apple Watch. Highly recommend this app for collectors.

This is the One to Use

I tried several web and smartphone apps to house the retro inventory and this was the winner. It’s is easy to use and immediately accessible UI wise. It also has the largest library - I have some obscure titles and when I entered them in other apps they were not found and I was directed to go to the web and add them to open source lists myself. When I added this app, they were immediately found, artwork and all. The only ones missing were 8-bit computing titles but I was able to manually add them in the app. The ‘value’ it applied to each entry seemed spot on as well. The summary stats were a nice surprise. Overall, I highly recommend this app.
