Lot of issues

I first tried one rental and it never unlock well the bike, then I was able to unlock two other then used for 48 minutes and then was no able to close the rental and still running after 9 hour despite I raised ticked as per the procedure indicate in the app, no answer from support neither a way to follow up or call for support

Charged when bike was returned

I was charged nearly $50 for a rental after I returned the bike. The next day I drove back (25 miles) to check on the bike to discover it was all locked up. Have sent multiple messages reporting the issue it’s been 6 days and I haven’t heard from anyone. Really poor service and has proven expensive. Would not recommend

DO NOT USE THIS APP

I was trying to use a locker at a bar and this app was the only way to rent the locker. It collects all of your information and credit card first. Well the first three lockers I tried to scan weren’t recognized, so I should have heeded the red flags then. When I finally “successfully “ scanned a locker that was recognized, it started charging me for the rental, but the locker NEVER LOCKED. I spent 10 minutes turning my Bluetooth on and off, closing and reopening the app, and no success. I could not end the rental because it said that it would only end if it was locked, which obviously was the freaking problem. I had just gotten to the bar and was not drinking, only wanted a place to put my purse so I could dance with my friends. I went to get the security staff to help me, and they couldn’t figure it out. They asked their management for help, and they said that they had nothing to do with the lockers as they are run by the company and that I should call them. There is no number to call. I put in error reports but there was no immediate resolution. It is midday the next day and this rental is STILL open and charges are still growing on my card. Completely frustrating. Do not ever use this app.

DO NOT USE FOR BIKE RENTALS

Bike rentals through the koloni app was set up in a local nj park and I downloaded it to try to use a bike. However the bike that was there wouldn’t unlock after I put my credit card in and try to take it out. ALSO the bikes locking mechanism was broken so I couldn’t lock it back up to stop getting charged. There’s no customer service for this bike service and my town claimed they weren't responsible for it. I had to fight with my credit card to get the charge removed. Do not ever use these bikes!

Really helpful in acton Bruce man trailhead

The first use is a bit work to go through, you need to download app, input credit card info etc, but after that, it is so easy, everytime I don’t need to lift the heavy bike to the car, it is very smooth for the process of rental

Poor service and unsafe bikes

Out of 5 bikes outside concord visitor centre today two were unavailable (when QR code scanned said ‘require maintenance’.)
One had no front brake, one had no functioning chain and final one had loose seat.
Paired to rent then ended up riding a bike with no front brake. Dangerous!
Wouldn’t use this service again.

Membership unclear

Confused why i bought a membership but still have gotten charged both times I have used the bikes… isn’t that why I bought the membership ahead of time? Aside from that it’s really nice that they have so many hubs across our town to share these bikes and the trails all connect. I was nervous I would be too short for the bikes but they are the perfect height and have low bars so it’s easy to get on. I did notice I could get the gears to go up but not down so I ended up on 5 for the whole ride which made it difficult going uphill. Not sure if you’re able to test the bikes for this kind of thing before you start the rental…

I wish this was 5 stars

I really enjoy/ love this service offered. However, I was charged the $25 fee when I left the bike I used at a designated hub- things happen, but I will not use again until I’m refunded, or at least some type of explanation/ response to my report is given…Hope this can help someone else otherwise, be careful!

Bikes booked, app doesn’t work

Several days in the row, I was trying to rent a bike at Frenship Gardens on Central Street of Plainfield. They have four bikes there, but all of them are booked. Who booked, and how to book Bike? I only have an option to rent a bike, not to book. As a result, I have to walk to the main street near Dairy Queen and rent it there or do not to rent at many days.
Also, many days app is not connecting to the place… I have to delete app and download again.

Terrible Experience

Plainfield, near oasis, diner for bikes, charge double time rode bikes for less than 40 minutes could not lock the bikes had to call to have the bikes manually locked had to stand out in the pouring rain to read bike numbers off to Plainfield perks employee to have them manually locked. Rode the bikes for less than 40 minutes was charged. Double will not be renting bikes again terrible experience.
