Update: Since the developer was so kind to respond to my original review, I decided to take a look back at other reviews and responses and noticed a suggestion that works for me. It was suggested to uninstall and reinstall the Fossil Q Legacy app and go back through the setup process. I did that two days ago and it maintains a much better connection. I’ve had to open the app a few times due to the occasional disconnect but it is much much better now. Upping my rating.

I love my Misfit Ray but it is super limited when it comes to notifications. Queue the Fossil Dreamer. It looks really nice. I was too excited to know that not only could I get phone and text notifications, I can get calendar reminders and a whole lot more (although some todo app notification would be nice).
Here’s the problem, when it works, it’s awesome. Most of the time, though, it doesn’t. It’ll lose connection and you have to open the app to reconnect. I have done resets, power offs, and firmware updates. Nothing fixes this. And if you’re like me in that you keep you phone completely silent with not phone sounds or vibrations, this causes you to miss calls, texts, and anything else you want to be notified of because the app disconnects and your Dreamer/Reveler simply sits pretty on your wrist without a shudder.
I like the simplicity of armbands without screens. I don’t want to tap away at my arm. I just want to be notified when my phone is receiving a message or call that I’m interested in. I thought this was a solution, but the Misfit Ray and it’s accompanying app work much better.

I wish the sales guy would of never pushed the watch on me... Major mistake.
