Loooove the blueberry muffin and jasmine tea

Sad birthday

I tried to use my flour birthday reward and was told I needed to add a credit card to the app to make the reward work. Then without warning the card was charged! I had been trying to use a flour gift card and was told afterwards they wouldnt work together. I didn’t end up with anything. Flour does not love you.

Waited over an hour for two salads ordered on the app. Terrible service. Won’t ever go back!

Very buggy app

It’s a really buggy app. I tried to order something at the Clarendon Street store and it kept throwing an “invalid selection” message. Ordered the exact same thing on Dalton Street and it went through fine.

We have SO much trouble with this app.
It gives us the run around
Doesn’t save (always) our previous orders
Difficult to navigate
Often we’re told my management to delete and reload it

Outstanding

My husband had surgery and we stayed an extra night at hotel due to snowstorm. At the recommendation of a friend who is nurse at MGH , we decided to get dinner at flour bakery. We were not disappointed! The app was quick and easy to use. Making modifications to each order was simple . My husband had the turkey sandwich and said it was delicious. He loved the cherry cranberry chutney and the sage Mayo. I had the bacon sandwich with arugula - so delicious. We loved dinner so much that we ordered breakfast next day and lunch to go on the road back home to Connecticut . Ordering was easy and location convenient to hotel and hospital. And the food was outstanding. Everything tasted fresh. Definitely coming back when we have to go to Boston. And definitely spreading the word !!

Software glitches

I give you zero stars for your app. (1] first, we have been to various Flour places many times and enjoyed all of them, and we have always been able to order on line for our FUTURE pickup (for ex., to pick up the next morning). Simple. Get the web site. Order food. Pay. Designate the place we want to pick up from. (2) But today, we go to the website, and try to order and the software is designed to prevent us from ordering unless we also “join” Flour, as if we are “members” or something. We need an “account” to order? I hate that. I do not wish to give you private information nor do I wish to have the hassle of yet another account. (3) So I decide to try Flour’s new app (or, at least it is new to us), hoping that I can make it work and that it would be simpler to sign up for the damned account. (4) But no, not simpler. Now the app will not allow us to order more than one single food item at one time. If I want a sandwich plus a scone, I have to order a sandwich, and pay for it and place an order. And then I must go a scone time,place an order and pay for it, to buy my scone. Two orders rather than one? What? Then the app tells me that I cannot order ahead of time for tomorrow morning, even though we have done that dozens and dozens of times.

This is very user unfriendly. I will spare you other things that seem exasperating about this app. We are pretty disappointed. We just wanted to order some of our favorite foods. Wanted no fuss. But I have spent 30 minutes with this poor software and am rather annoyed. Zero stars.
