Brilliant App
I downloaded several different planner apps, some being the trials of the reviewed best paid ones, I did not like any of them, then I stumbled across Pocket Lists and as it was free thought why not try it, well it is absolutely the best, I love it, it is simple yet powerful, I like it so much I have decided it was worth paying for, and getting the extra features is a bonus, well done to the developer. This is the first time I have ever written a review of anything, that’s how much I’m impressed.

Won’t open
I love this app and have had it for awhile but now I can’t open it . It just flashes when you click on it but won’t open . I had a lot of lists with info I would like to retrieve but can no longer access it. Very frustrated having lost so much information.
Fantastic (but a little glitchy)
I love this app because it’s NOT a to-do list app. I swear, any time you search for an app you can just use to write lists, all you get are apps exclusively for productivity.
That’s great, but I need an app to log all of the thoughts that would otherwise leak out of my ears in! I use this to keep track of books I want to read, films to watch, groceries, presents, to-dos, things I need to remember to mention to my doctor etc. It’s fantastic, I love the cute layout & the ability to personalise it. I wish there was more options for list colours, but you can’t have everything.
One thing I have noticed is it can be a little glitchy. Sometimes you have to exit the app or the specific list after adding an entry because it won’t let you click on anything else (e.g. the ‘New todo’ button). When I go between screens (e.g. list settings, or the settings of a specific to-do), it won’t let me come back out of it. It could do with a ‘return’ button, or something.
Finally, sometimes it won’t let you scroll the whole list. You get stuck looking at the top 5/6 entries (I use an iphone 12 mini) and can’t look at those below.
Usually these are all manageable by just closing and reopening the app, but they are a little annoying! 5 stars if this problem goes away. But… 5 stars for the app in general. Only one of its kind that is as lovely to use and look at that i’ve found! Just… a little glitchy.

Stopped working
This app was great to begin with but it has stopped working. It now does not save any changes to lists so it is essentially unusable l, as there is no update available. We also paid for premium so we are disappointed that the app has stopped working.

What’s happened??
I use this app to remind me to breathe… it’s been super helpful for me, I loved everything about it… but in the past few weeks it’s got a mind of it’s own. My tasks will randomly go into the order in which I wrote them, instead of the order I put them in, and I’ll check things off then open the app again and they’re not checked off anymore, or my tasks will disappear once I close and reopen the app… I don’t know what happened?? I’ve been looking for other apps because it’s driving me nuts that things aren’t staying where they’re meant to!!

Used to work great
I used this app happily for over a year, and then it suddenly went haywire. No matter how many times I checked items as complete, they’d show up on the list again. I’ve finally given up and deleted the app and now resort to paper lists or the notes app on my phone. I’ll report it, but I see others haven’t had much luck with the same problem…

It Hardly Works So Purchase Wisely
So I downloaded this app to keep track of my tasks and other important lists. I decided to purchase the Premium Lifetime subscription, and it wasn’t worth it. The app worked fine for a few weeks and then started to crash every time I opened it. I couldn’t even get it to stay open long enough to update my essential lists. I continuously have to delete the app and re-download it to get it to even open for longer than a few seconds; This is very hard when I am on the go, considering it has to update and sync each time I have to re-download it. Productivity is not possible with this app, so purchase your subscription wisely. They DO NOT offer refunds, so don’t even bother to ask. I would recommend other apps such as “TO DO” for productivity instead of this one. The time “PocketLists” was free, it worked. Once they had me hooked on the line with a subscription, it hardly worked.

Have used the app with great success for years. Only since I updated my phone to the 14 Pro, when I try to open the app, I only get a black screen and nothing else. Doesn’t matter how many times I quit out of the app and try again. Is an update coming to address this?

Fixed now with the latest app release! The app is working smoothly on iOS 16 from now on. There are still a couple of known minor UI flaws in the app, and we'll fix them shortly with an ongoing update. Sorry for encountering the issue and for your feedback!

So happy to get a message that Pocket Lists is up and running again with an update for iOS 16 - and best of all, all my “old” lists are still accessible! I LOVE THIS APP, and use it daily to keep track of little things for today and for long term things I want to remember to check out or do. 😃
