After iOS 16 - App not working

After iOS 16 update the screen goes black when you open the app it’s too bad it no longer works , maybe an update will fix it. Still a 5 star app.

Fixed now with the latest app release! The app is working smoothly on iOS 16 from now on. There are still a couple of known minor UI flaws in the app, and we'll fix them shortly with an ongoing update. Sorry for encountering the issue and for your feedback!

Fixed😀 /I Rely on this app

UPDATE: The update worked! Everything is restored and all my Lists were saved. The world is as it should be now. Thank you guys for fixing it. I really rely on my notes and lists.

This is a great app. Love the reminders and the ability to set priorities and dates.

All my lists are gone! Only a black screen after 16 install. All the notes for my daughter’s birthday party were in there.😭

iOS 16 DOES NOT WORK

For me I can’t live without it! Because is the best organizer I have ever used since the Starfish Software in the 90s up to Windows 10 OS did not supported anymore, now this App with the new iOS 16 it goes to a dark screen!! It is happening the samething to me now with Pocketlist!!

I have paid for the permanent license since a couple of years ago and it deserved 5 stars plus, and now I have requested for help at the Website on this important bug, but I haven’t received an answer about what’s going on!!! if it’s going to be fixed or not!!

I’m using the website temporarily in the cloud, but is not the same and some nice features like subtasks and reordering automatically DO NOT WORK, then for me from 5 stars plus goes to 1 star minus. I never write reviews but this one is FUNDAMENTAL every user or potential user should knows about it

Unusable

This app has become unusable. It makes many errors. It also ignores updates you have made on different to-dos so that when you reopen the app the updates have disappeared and it has reverted to what it was before you updated it. When you try to get help, it tells you to go to Settings and “Update the App”. The problem is that it never stops updating no matter how many times you come back to Settings. When I communicated with the Developer this is the answer I got:

“ I understand your disappointment, but Pocket Lists isn't our only Project to develop and invest our resources into. We're a small startup so the team is limited and some processes require time but we surely like no one else interested in setting up a better syncing process in our app.

Can you imagine a business would send that to a customer. I have asked for a refund of my annual subscription or at least a prorated amount and never heard back from.

It’s a shame because they had a great product that could have been better if they were still working on developing it.

Cancelled my annual subscription.

Dictation Horrible

I’ve used the app for many years and I really like it. What is keeping me from loving it is the glitch in dictating. When I try to dictate, the mic consistently cuts out mid word, mid sentence. I have to press the mic button several times to dictate multiple word tasks. I have sent messages to the apps admin 2 years ago and they said they were aware and were fixing it. Well, it never happened. I use this app daily and it is soooooo annoying that I can’t just dictate smoothly and without interruption. That is the only thing keeping me from eating it with 5 stars.

Is this app dead?

Whilst the app is really good for most part, there are areas where the app fails completely such as location searching and syncing. I’m assuming this app has been abandoned by its developers… and therefore there are no further fixes scheduled.
