Will not connect to GoPro
There is no information on how to do this. I like the cube so far but if you say it will connect to the gopro it should. Also provide some instructions.Works Great on Cubes,
But it can’t find my GoPro 8 Black! I dunno if this app even Supports the Newer GoPro’s, I would hope so! I do NOT wanna go to the New LUME Cube App, the Reviews are HORRIBLE! Almost every single one of them! Lol, so I’m just need to know if I’m doing something Wrong, or GoPro just “Out Grew” the App?
Anyone know?
Will this LUME X App work with the GoPro 8 Black? If so, How do I pair them?
Thank you!
PS: I would give it a 6 Star if my GoPro would Connect! LolShow lessUpdate
Update the app for the same functions and setting of the iPhone 13 Pro Max camera. Add more functions on your app when taking a picture or doing a recording. Like different formats of picture and resolution of video. You all have a great product but your app is not good at all with the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Need to have 4K on the video recording.Show lessUseless app and Cube
Bluetooth connection is lost most of the time. The app is not optimized to take advantages of lenses on iPad. The Cube itself puts out a very harsh light on the edges if you are close to a subject. I thought the Cuba was meant for photography , also. This app is useless in controlling the Cube.A great app but….
A really great app but it lacks the only functionality that you can’t control one single cube on its own or a group of cubes. Once added all cubes act simultaneously and cannot be controlled in a certain group. Developers need to do a bit more work on this app and then I will score 5 out of 5.
There was a review I read here that stated this exact problem that was given two years ago. Surely developers have seen that!Show lessMassive Potential
Even in 2021, I rely on my LumeCubes because of their portability and quality of light. You can only use LumeCubes as a mobile flash through THIS APP which DOES NOT SUPPORT RAW?
This app would be 100X better if I could shoot in RAW.
The camera interface deserves an update… adding manual functions like WB control and Shutter Speed would be helpful.
The LumeCubes would be waaaaaay more useful for mobile photography if these changes were made.Show lessDeveloper Response
Thanks for the support John Luxe. Good to hear you never leave home without your Lume Cube! We'll plan on adding RAW support in a future update to Lume-X.Please hire an experienced UX / UI designer
Janky, cluttered interface. Labels that indicate things are on have to be toggled on and off a couple times to actually function. Can’t count on the interface to behave the way you expect it to. What’s with the weird sliders used as buttons? That’s not a thing and adds to the confusion. I can tell your engineers mean well, but user experience design is a specific discipline for a reason.Show lessOk. Can be good and maybe great
Purchased the $300 kit to be able to control the lights with this app. After testing, the battery meter isn’t accurate when it’s ON. When switched to OFF position, it’s a more accurate percentage. There are a few small details which hopefully will get fixed. Thanks for listening.Almost not useless
Clunky and buggy. This app is a big part of the reason I bought the Lume cube but I’m better off just using manual controls on the light itself. Very disappointedUseless.
It’s difficult to put in to words how utterly useless this app is. To start, the UI is awful. Once you take a photo, you have to leave the app to see it in photos folder. Oh, about taking photos, have an iPhone 11 or newer? Can’t change focal length. Or if you can, there’s certainly no clear way shown to do this.
No matter, it activates the Lume cubes sometimes, if at all.
And WHY does my iTunes stop playing when I on the app??
Also, when you hit the shutter release, it either has a 3-5 second delay, or it simply doesn’t take the photo at all. Part of the reason I got these cubes what for this apps claimed functionality.
Scrap the app and start over.Show less
