New App is not an improvement
I love Melt and have been using On Demand for over a year. However, the “upgraded” app is terrible. The original app was primitive, but usable. The new app is even worse and so annoying to use that it causes stress. First, I have to enter my email to “get started”. I am then presented with a log in screen in which I have to reenter my email along with my password. Once I finally get the app open, I have to manually scroll through all the offerings to find the map I want. There is no search function, a very basic functionality that should have been included in this very poor release. There is also no way to save favorites from the app. I have to log in to a browser to do that. There are also privacy concerns - I should not have to select not to view me or hear me while playing the app. I can understand that with live streaming classes, but not with prerecorded maps. Support has been less than helpful. Any questions are met with the response that further upgrades will address any issues. This is not worthy paying a subscription fee to use.

Trouble since Day 1
Subscriber since 2016 and never had trouble getting to a good video that helped me. Now I can’t find my videos that were tried and true if I can even get into the app ☹️
Worse than useless
How did this app even make it into the App Store? Not only does it have the most dreadful interface that is ridiculously hard to navigate (I love the term another reviewer used: “user hostile”), but I have yet to be able to view a single video- they simply don’t load. I am on fiber, so it’s not my connection speed, the videos don’t appear to even try to load. I can’t get support to respond. I love the Melt Method, but they need to realize pulling the app is better than offering a totally broken experience. They have broken my trust, that’s for sure.

Melt exercises are amazing but the app is garbage.
I don’t know what they were thinking with this new version of the app. It didn’t save my favorites and now I can’t even find the classes I loved at all. Not-user friendly in the slightest. I can’t seem to change to full screen on my phone or even get logged in at all on my tablet. Melt is incredible and deserves so much better than this garbage app, which in my mind worked great before they redid it recently. I hope they make some big fixes soon or I will not be renewing.

Love MELT! Hate the new APP!
I started MELTing at home in 2020 and purchased the APP because I loved the work so much. I am so sad because I am having problems with the new APP. Like the other reviews listed here, I get kicked out of videos, none of my favs saved, and I can’t find certain workouts by categories anymore. I have relied daily on the specific practices. Like someone else said in a review; I am now relying on memory to MELT. Customer service provided curt and non-empathetic replies when I reached out. I was given no warning about the new APP. I heard it was coming, but never received any communication as to when or any details about the whole picture of how the APP is different from the old one. I love Sue and this work. I am a believer and hope to take the instructor training one day. However, I am simply frustrated and sad that my go to for body work no longer serves me. :(

I love the melt method. This app is stressing me out. The videos are forever down loading . I can’t figure out how to view them.
This makes no sense
It was hard enough finding classes or trying to follow a day to day routine on the old app, but with the new redesign, it is impossible. There is no logical flow to any of the categories, the search bar doesn’t seem to work, and it is unpleasant, to say the least, to try and remove ‘stuck stress’ with a leaderboard covering half the screen. I don’t know who the new app is designed for! Definitely going to cancel next month until it is more user-friendly.

Love Melt Method but not the new App
I agree with the latest comments. Very user unfriendly, no ability to search for the areas I want to target, tiny pause/start button, the list could go on but overall very confusing and therefore time-consuming to use. But I do love the Melt Method!
Abysmal UX
The relaunch screwed a lot of things up. The interface is unduly cluttered. Looks like a bunch of high school boys designed it. Can’t favorite collections. Takes forever to load. Lost my old favorites. Hard to find what I need. No search. Seems like this was launched before it was truly tested and ready.

Who is this for?
Absolutely user hostile in features and design. Lost my old favorite content and can’t search for it? Playback is ridiculous, with features that seemed aimed at instructors rather than users. I don’t want to be “scored” and I don’t care about stats, and there’s no way to opt out of these things. So there’s just a lot of pointless noise. Playback keeps cutting out too, and the play/stop is tiny for some reason, probably because of all the pointless buttons on the screen for stuff I don’t want.
