Patchy connection, pairing drops regularly

The app’s functionality is good (though I’d love a timer function), but on two new models it’s struggling to stay connected, maintain pairing (recall settings/device names), update firmware, and therefore function reliably.

Hello, Currently we do not have a timer function but for the Atem Desk version you can use the proximity detect function to turn off the Atem when you walk away. Sorry to hear that you are having connection issues. Be sure to update your Atems with the latest firmware and bluetooth updats via the app. With the new firmware and bluetooth update you should not be having any issues with connecting to your Atem. App simply does not function whatsoever

I just received this Atem today here in NYC. IQAir App does not see the Atem device whatsoever. Utterly functionless, no reason to have the App if it does not even see the Atem device to attempt to initiate pairing in the first place. Complete failure. I was planning on purchasing the HealthPro Plus if this test run of IQAir Atem went well due to my concerns of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and Covid-19 here in Manhattan. haha The app didn't even *see* the device at all. Will give it two weeks from today. Update to come...

Pairing failures

Have had issues pairing this with my device. Tried deleting and re-adding the app to the phone, unplugging the Atem, and toggling on/off by Bluetooth...each multiple times. Very disappointed in this app.

Sorry to hear you are having pairing issues. Please see our latest update to the latest Bluetooth version for improved connectivity. With the 8.30 Bluetooth update, and you updated the firmware successfully, you will need to follow these steps to pair your Atem again ; Step 1 : Exit the app and open your Smart phone settings ; From settings go to the Bluetooth menu and forget this device to remove the Atem from list. Step 2 : Open the Atem app and click on the "+" menu to start your Atem paring process. Have your Atem Bluetooth pairing code ready, found on the packaging, user guide or the back of the Atem. If this does not work please contact support by visiting our web site https://www.iqair.com/us/support/service-center or call 888-560-1020 to talk to a customer support specialist.

Doesn’t detect Bluetooth

It won’t connect anymore because it says my Bluetooth is disabled, although it is not disabled. 🤷‍♂️

Latest update fail

Lost both temperature and humidity readings on both units I own with the last update. Worked great before?!?!?
