Stats are not accurate

I have used this for 2 weeks now, and every game I have the same problem with the stats.
The shift data is useless because it obviously cannot tell when there are stoppages in play. What really is a 1:20 shift will show up as a 2 min shift with a couple whistles involved. Cannot really fault the app for that, but the data it produces is not accurate at all and is of no value.
The other features like heart rate, fitness level, skating efficiency are all nice, but I question that accuracy as well. Every game I have been rated as excellent in all categories shown, and I am sure as a 55 year old beer leaguer, that I do not have McDavid rated fitness level and efficiency as indicated. Ive tried it, but will not be paying monthly for it.

Love this app

Men’s league player here. Love using this app. I wear my watch when I play and referee and having the game specific data to lean on afterward is awesome. There are advanced features available that could be useful to players of all levels. Highly recommend.

GARMIN?

Would love to use this app, my friends have it. Will you be considering making it available to Garmin watch users in the future?

Excellent

I’ve been using this app for three years now and it is by far one of the most useful apps I’ve ever used, even when compared with the other fitness apps I use. I recommend it to everyone I coach or play with.
I only wish there was a way to edit start/stop times for practices etc. This app is literally one of the main reasons I moved to the apple os as well as getting an Apple Watch

Great tracking, not quite perfect

Awesome tracking. I love the skating speed/distance+shift tracking. The shift tracking is however somewhat flawed. It counts my warmup as a shift which throws off my summary statistics for the rest of my shifts. It would be nice to have the option to tag a shift as a warmup in the app after saving your game so that you could keep the calories/skating distance but not count it towards your game skating stats.

I really want to like it

There are things about this app that I love, but unfortunately I think it’s mostly for show. The stats are all mostly based off of your speed, which is quite wrong most of the time.

I am a 300+ lb man who is almost 40 years old and it tells me my Hockey Fitness Level is almost to McDavid levels. It also tells me my Vo2 max is around 60, which is also laughable. Every other watch/app I’ve used always shows around 33-38 for my Vo2 max, so this app is clearly the outlier.

It also did a poor job in my game at separating shifts. Our games are three 18 minute periods, and it said I was on shift for 34 out of the 54 mins, which is not true. It counted 3-4 shifts of 30 secs and even when I delete them they still show up.

I wanted to like this app so badly, but I can’t spend money on a pro membership for something that just doesn’t work.

I love it.

I have been using Hockey Tracker for a while now. It is very useful. I was showing my cardiologist the heart recovery data and he was impressed about the app and my improved fitness level after my procedure.

If you play hockey you need this app

I’ll skip over all the cool stats you get using this. Number of shifts, fastest skate speed, can save all your goals and assists and scores, etc. it has everything. What you need in this app is it taps you when it’s time to end your shift! So all you ‘I didn’t realize I was out there for 9 minutes’ guys have no excuses now. Set it for 2 minutes and it will tap you. Freakin awesome. Works amazing with the watch.

Awesome Personal Tracker

This app has all the features needed to dial into a strengthening program.
Tailoring intervals to build strength and recovery.

Works great.

Once I updated the app and my watch, everything is back to normal. Fun to look at after games to see if you were actually trying as hard as you thought.
