Excellent App
Definitely worth it. Add it today!
Highly detailed and in depth tracking app
Great info
Not accurate at all
Response from developer
Thanks for your review, was this skate outdoors or in? If outdoors, make sure on the watch app you go into settings and turn on the outdoors button. This will enable GPS for more precise distance tracking. If not I would be happy to troubleshoot the issue you are having if you could shoot me an email at hockeytrackerapp@gmail.com. Thanks! Gary
Great app!!
Great App, but could use some scheduling features
Edit - App working & tracking fantastically
Back in love with it!!

I don't believe this is related to iOS 14 as we've been running HockeyTracker on the betas for months, I would be happy to troubleshoot what the issue might be. Please email us at hockeytrackerapp@gmail.com
Great idea, inaccurate data
That said, I believe the stats (specifically speed, but that influences the others) are very inaccurate and unreliable. I will try to illustrate this with a very simple example.
Player A has played hockey for 20 years and is a former high level junior player. He uses HockeyTracker and it tells him his average max speed is 15 mph and his average burst is 11 mph.
Player B is a new hockey player who just learned to skate 3 years ago. His HockeyTracker app tells him his average max speed is 17 mph and his average burst is 13 mph.
This is obviously a vague example but I’ve seen it in practice time and time again. Just makes you question how accurate any of the data is when the speed is clearly off on a consistent basis.
Other than that, I’ve also noticed the app ends sessions on its own once in a while, though that may be human error (ie. clicking it with my wrist somehow accidentally).

Thank you for taking time to leave a review! Keep in mind that we are tracking your movement based on a device on your wrist, which is possible but is always going to be a little less precise than, for example, tracking you via an indoor system with cameras and multiple sensors like in NHL practice facilities. So there are bound to be anomalies from time to time for sure. Speed determined from a wearable shouldn’t necessarily be taken at face value but instead more so to gauge whether a skate was faster overall, or whether you are getting faster between skates etc. I believe players sometimes focus too much on pure speed instead of more important fitness indictors like Heart Rate rRecovery, VO2 Max, and HT's Effort Level Score. As far as accidentally ending session did you know that you can (1) water lock your watch (Series 3 or newer) so that this doesn't happen and also (2) turn on auto water lock in settings which will automatically lock the watch every time your workout starts. I'd be happy to help you with any issues you are having if you shoot me an email at hockeytrackerapp@gmail.com. Gary
