## What is 12Calc?

12Calc is a full version of the well known HP12C for the iPhone and iPad. It also includes an audit tape, unit converter, worksheets, rotated views, user guide and HD graphics optimized for iPad and iPhone retina displays.

•Runs in 64 bit mode on the latest iOS release and new iPads and iPhones.

•Calculations are highly accurate and blazing fast. No more "running" flashing displays for amortizations, depreciation schedules or interest calculations. Work as fast as you can type.

•Audit Tape: The audit tape keeps a record of your calculations. You can review, mail, text, share or print the tape.

•Unit Converter: Convert between a wide variety of common units and currencies. Currency rates can be downloaded from the internet.

I have used an HP 12 C for nearly 35 years. Having it on my phone makes it very convenient. I find the software to work as well as my HP 12 C.

Trust me. This app is spectacular! I've used Hewlett Packard calculations since my early years in real estate in late 1970's. I didn't think it could be improved but I was wrong as this emulates all the good features of the physical HP12C and then adds benefits. It is so great to be able to look at the financial registers and see what values are in N, I, PV, PMT, and FV. One of my favorite features is using Clx to eliminate the last number in the X register. The physical HP12C eliminates the whole number so you have to start over. Being able to look at the tape is HUGE if you're wanting to see or verify that you have included all the variables in a long calculation. My fellow REALTORS® don't buy the Hewlett Packard iOS version. I used to train agents at board offices in Tennessee and Alabama on the use of the HP12-C and I've written articles for our nation trade publication, Real Estate Today. I've used the iOS version From Hewlett Packard and this version from Mr. Brock. This version wins HANDS DOWN. I would pay twice or even three times the asking price on 11/8/19. It's unfortunate that Ernest Brock has to battle against Apple's tweaks to it's operating systems which in turn causes tweaks in the App. This is THE go to app for financial calculations in the residential and commercial fields in real estate. To Mr. Brock: I am saving this review so that I can repost it due to an Apple reset.

Have used an HP12C for more than 30 years. An extraordinary classic then by HP. Have the original in my drawer still. Amazing to have this brilliantly executed virtual copy on my iPhone. Very impressed and grateful for the continued updates and expansions of this marvellous App’s capabilities.

I own 4 12c’s and have used them since way back when they first came out.  They now all sit in my desk drawer since I bought this app. It does everything a 12c does and more, plus it does it much faster.
