Choose your 12-step fellowship and the language and tools adapt: step work, daily practice, journalling, meetings and support for the days that get difficult. WORK YOUR PROGRAMME Follow guided prompts through all twelve steps. Keep a journal, gratitude lists, morning intentions, daily check-ins, spot-checks and nightly inventories. Build reusable My Lists for things such as people to call or triggers to notice, then add them to Today. FIND A MEETING Search in-person and online meetings in the app. Current coverage is AA meetings in London, NA meetings across the UK and CA meetings worldwide. Search by town or postcode, use your location once if you choose, and filter by day, time, distance, format and fellowship. BRING YOUR HISTORY Moving from My Spiritual Toolkit? Import journals, spot-check inventories, nightly inventories and gratitude lists. Original dates are kept, and importing the same export again skips duplicates. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICE Personal content is encrypted before it syncs. Standard mode gives you email password reset. In Private mode the key stays on your device, so we cannot read your content or reset a forgotten password. THE DAY-TO-DAY TOOLS Track clean time and milestones without a leaderboard. Use Help Now for grounding tools and quick access to someone you trust. Share only what you choose with a sponsor, keep personal reminders, and see patterns in your own writing worked out on your device. Built for AA, NA, CA, SA, SAA, SLAA, GA, OA, DA and Al-Anon. The language and tools adapt to the fellowship you choose. The core app is free and has no adverts or tracking pixels. Supporting the app is optional at £12 a year. Works on iPhone, iPad and the web, with encrypted sync between your devices. 12steps is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by AA, NA, CA or any other fellowship. It supports recovery, but it is not treatment or a substitute for your fellowship, sponsor or professional help. If you are in danger, call your local emergency number. The app keeps its name on your phone, and your account, your data and the way you sign in have not changed. Also fixed: just after midnight, the nightly inventory date picker now lets you choose the new day. ### 1.4.1 — 2026-09-25 Fixes the app closing as soon as you open it on iOS 27. Sorry if that's been happening to you. Also new: links to your fellowship's official meeting readings, newcomer pages and literature, for 17 fellowships. Plus a few small fixes. ### 1.4 — 2026-09-17 Confirm your email address New accounts now get a six-digit code and a one-tap link by email. You can carry on using the app while you confirm, and confirming means we can reach you if you ever need help getting back into your account. Plus the usual round of small fixes. ### 1.3 — 2026-09-14 A fresher look this time, and the app should feel quicker. • Redesigned home screen and insights • Pages load faster, especially if you've been using the app for a while • New reminders for your morning practice and daily check-in, which only arrive if you haven't done them yet • An optional something-to-think-about card on your home screen • AA meetings now cover the whole of Great Britain and Ireland • A clear sign when an entry has saved • Lots of small design fixes As always, your journal, step work and inventories are encrypted on your device before they reach us. ### 1.2 — 2026-08-11 This one is mostly about meetings and making the app fit how you actually work. • My Lists — build your own reusable lists (triggers, people to call, gratitude prompts) and pull them into your daily plan • Find a meeting near you — search by postcode or use your location, with travel and attendance details • Meeting addresses now open straight into Google Maps, Waze, Citymapper or Apple Maps • Cocaine Anonymous meetings added, plus wider UK coverage • Reminders for daily practices that only nudge you if you haven't done them yet • Nightly inventory history is easier to skim, and the date picker is fixed • Fixes across Help Now, gratitude and the meeting finder As always, your journal, step work and inventories are encrypted on your device before they reach us. ## Apps similar to 12steps.life | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [My 12-Step Coach](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/my-12-step-coach/id6745933869) | 5.0 (2) | Free | Lifestyle | | [12 Steps](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/12-steps/id1578582057) | — | Free | Lifestyle | | [Takeout.gg Driver](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/takeoutgg-driver/id1528200461) | — | Free | Lifestyle | | [AA Daily Readings & Prayers](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/aa-daily-readings-and-prayers/id6747896671) | 5.0 (8) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Rehubs+](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/rehubs-plus/id6741462001) | — | Free | Lifestyle | | [Ricky James barbershop](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/ricky-james-barbershop/id1530204339) | — | Free | Lifestyle | ## More apps by Community Tech Ltd - [Simple Business Email](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/simple-business-email/id6772844499) All apps by Community Tech Ltd: https://appshunter.io/developer/1879762341 ## Related topics [12 steps time](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/12-steps-time) · [12 steps companion](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/12-steps-companion) · [12 steps the companion](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/12-steps-the-companion) · [12 step companion](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/12-step-companion) · [twelve steps the companion](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/twelve-steps-the-companion) · [aa 12 steps](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/aa-12-steps) · [12 step](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/12-step) --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
