Broken now
Response from developer
Hello themedgeek! We actually fixed this issue a few days after your review back in 2020 and the app has been working beautifully ever since. But thank you for the feedback. Merry Christmas!

Welcome to version 2.1! Okay, so we made some changes under the hood that will improve performance, but have no impact on how you use the app. Plus, we updated our stream for the brand new crystal clear, sparkling like the freshly fallen snow, digital broadcast! Plus, now you can choose the quality of your fire. Yes, you read that right. If you'd like the video, um, fire to be in HD, Low-Quality, or just a photo, you can toggle that in the upper right corner of the screen.

Welcome to Christmas 2022! We've been working with Santa on making some updates to the fireplace: +We fixed a few bugs that prevented seeing the song title, artist and album artwork. Now, you know what you're listening to. +Next, we cracked down on the amount of time it takes to load the app and get a roaring fire going. You should see a lot of improvement there. +Lastly, we update the wood from oak to cherry making the fire's glow even that much more special, not to mention the woodsmoke smell. Mmmmm! Thanks for supporting Tinsel & Tunes, it's hard to believe we've been at this for 18 years. Cheers to 18 more. Merry Christmas!

Christmas 2021 is upon us and the fire is roaring! With a lot of back-end improvements to cover updates over the last year, this version of the app will be the best yet. We've added the ability to change the visual image quality of the fire to help with loading time on slower connections. Like in years past, it's still pretty simple, just turn the music on or off and enjoy the fire all year long. Now, grab some egg nog and get ready for Tinsel & Tunes by a roaring fire.

We had to make some updates as the cherry on the sundae for the year of 2020. Actually, we just made some minor adjustments and you probably won't notice much other than how the app looks. Everything else is exactly the same. So, grab a fire extinguisher and let's do this.

Another quick update! Some people were complaining that the fire was too hot and it was making their living rooms a bit warm. So we got rid of a log. Also, we made another slight visual adjustment that you probably wouldn't notice, but we're detail oriented. -The Tinsel Team
