Please make the SmartHQ App available for AppleID users who are living in the Caribbean but whose region is set to other countries!!! I bought this range and now I ant use the Airfryer because of an APP!!! It’s ridiculous!!! Or tell me how to disconnect the need for Wi-Fi to use my airfryer!!!
App does not connect to GE appliance
The next button stays grayed out even when my phone is connected to the Oven network. 🤦🏻♂️

Next Greyed Out
Like the other reviewers, the app doesn’t work at all. Connects to the range fine, but the next button is greyed out. For a company the size of GE, I’m shocked that they haven’t upgraded the app in so long, and I’ve read that in order to get the update app to work, I have to be running iOS 12 OR LOWER.
Now that I know GE doesn’t plan on supporting appliance firmware for more than 5 years, I won’t be buying them again. If you’re thinking of buying a “smart” GE appliance, don’t expect them to support it, so go with something that isn’t GE/haier…
Either update the app, or offer an alternative to update, GE. Very disappointing, and just shows how old GE management is when it comes to technology…. “Make them buy a new one in 5 years..”

GE Monogram double oven
I am having the same issue where the app to update the software is not responding. Restarted everything a couple times and still cannot get it to work.
The worst
If I could give 0 stars I would. Once you connect to the oven’s wifi and return to the app, as the directions say, the next button stays greyed out and makes it impossible to update. Therefore you will never be able to use the remote feature. Absolutely terrible.

I’m with everyone else on the reviews. You are required to jump back and forth with WiFi connections between the router and the appliance. Once it tries to update the appliance it’s no longer connected and stays gray on the button.

Trying to update my GE Cafe oven and even though I’m connected to the oven WiFi, this stupid application won’t allow me to go to step 3. HELP!!!!!!! 🤬
