  • Great app ruined by latest updates

I used to enjoy the great selection of puzzles on this app, but recently it has become almost unusable. Repeatedly crashing, or hanging and needing to be restarted. Adverts getting longer and more repetitive and it often then hangs after watching them so you have to watch more. Then further screens advertising subscription after every single puzzle is completed, then (you guessed it) more adverts before you can continue. Please fix and return it to the decent app this used to be a few months ago Latest adverts include blatant scams, fake screens showing that your iPhone storage has run out and links to ‘resolve’ this with a 3rd party app. If you are going to continually force adverts on us, at least ensure they are genuine.

Further update: Now being forced to manually decline 3rd party data sharing individually on around 100 vendors, no ‘Reject all’ option. If we’re watching the endless adverts you keep forcing on us, why do you need to extend this even more by trying to sell our data to 100s of additional vendors?

  • Long time player getting frustrated AH!

This game used to be a great game that you could choose to watch ads to collect tokens to play / coins for helpers.
These days there is a 30/60sec ad after EVERY puzzle - a little excessive when some puzzles can be solved in 60-90 secs - especially when you consider they have a constant stream of banner ads running at the bottom of the page when playing.
Now whilst I fully believe - Everyone's gotta eat! Nothing is free, why should it be?! And yes, you can usually close the ad after 15/30seconds... ONLY if the ad loads properly & ONLY if it doesn't freeze/close the app, like the banner ads do CONSTANTLY!
I personally can cope with the amount of ads (although I do think it's a lot compared to most) BUT I can't remember the last time I played a puzzle all the way through without the app failing to respond because a banner ad won't load properly, it may start working eventually or you have to force close & re-start. Then you finally get to finish a puzzle after 1-3 re-starts, only for the full screen ad to fail to load <brain starts to melt out of my ear>😵‍💫
I actually considered subscribing to get rid of ads as I like the mix of puzzles this game gives more than others, but I think it's something crazy like £7 or £8 /MONTH! Errrr nope!
I've given up waiting for an update to fix the constant crashes, this app now offers far more frustration than enjoyment so - '🎶now you're just an app that I used to play🎵'
    Peace out ☮️✌️

  • More and more adds

This WAS an entertaining site. I didn’t mind watching ads to gain tokens to play puzzles. Not a big deal. But, the most recent update causes you to watch an ad every time you finish a puzzle, plus having to watch 2 of them to gain enough tokens to play one puzzle, does not lead to a fun time. On top of that, the occasional free tokens sparsely doled out in the game have disappeared entirely. Anytime I’m spending more time watching ads instead of playing the game means it’s time to move to another game. Sorry to loose you guys, but, there’s no other choice. I believe you guys think that I’ll be more inclined to buy tokens if you make playing the game miserable. You are wrong. If you make the game miserable, I just quit playing.

UPDATE: The commercial content, which used to range from 15 seconds to 30 seconds, are currently ranging between 60 seconds and 90 seconds. While there are several of the games presented on the older commercials that I have downloaded, I’m not going to sit through commercials of that length. There are too many other games out there where this does not happen. Again, it takes more time to sit through the commercial than it does to play out a level. And, commercials of that length do NOT entrap an audience. They simply drive them away.

  • My everyday game app!

I have been a paid subscriber for several years now and continue to play every day. As a “senior” it keeps my mind challenged and clear. Not only do I complete all the daily puzzles and play my 5 daily “free” Special Issues puzzles, I have watched 20 ads each day to earn 100 extra tokens to play more, earning 5 tokens for each ad (I admit, I turn the volume down so I don’t hear the sound). However, since the latest App update, that ability to earn extra tokens seems to have been shut off. Not sure why. But I use the tokens during special events, which are always mysterious and fun, usually occurring over the weekends when I have extra time to play longer. Lately I have been going down the list of Special issues and completing one puzzle from each issue every day, using up these extra tokens. I have learned to enjoy the variety of games and puzzles to stimulate my brain each day. At first, I only played my favorites, but now I play them all. And for extra fun, I go back and play really old daily puzzles. I have so far gone backwards to June 2019 and those daily puzzles are all free to play. So if you are short of tokens, try that! This is well worth the price for me.

  • Great puzzle game!

EDIT: Fortunately, they seem to have updated the game again after complaints and now it no longer includes the additional ads I complained about below. Don’t get me wrong, I understand the need to use ads to make the game free. As I said before, I’ve been playing the game for a year, and I’ve been perfectly happy to watch ads. But the new ones they’d added were a bridge too far. Now that they’ve restored the game, I can now say this game is truly excellent. It includes brand new puzzles every day of a variety of fun types. Thanks guys!

ORIGINAL: I’ve been playing Puzzle Page daily for a year now. It’s great because you get to play some free puzzles everyday, and then you watch ads to earn tokens to play more. I’ve been perfectly happy with that system. The game seems to have received an update, cause all of a sudden now I get random ads between puzzles. There are also banner ads at the bottom of each puzzle that covers a little bit of the screen. That’s right, now I get to watch more ads which don’t earn me anything. I’m afraid I won’t be playing anymore. 😕

Thanks for your feedback. We appreciate ads can be a little frustrating but they support us in regularly bringing new features and content to the game. Video ads should only display at the normal times, after you complete a puzzle or when you choose to watch them for rewards, and there have not been any recent changes to this. Please refer to the in-game help for more information on how you can disable ads or report problems with ads.
  • Advert overload warning

Things have changed. I used to watch ads to earn tokens and coins to continue playing their puzzles. That was OK, my choice. They have decided that such an operating model was not bringing in enough revenu. Now, even before getting to play a puzzle, an advert pops up. No tokens or coins as compensation - you see the advert, period. There is also now a rolling advert at the bottom of the puzzle page. So, I am using up my tokens in airplane mode, and then removing the app. A shame. I really liked the app before the advert overload.

  • Excellent variety

There is a comprehensive choice of puzzles all with instructions on how to play each one. Many enjoyable hours of fresh challenges daily. Highly recommend. A fun time with a huge choice in the types of puzzles . Play everyday.
  • Do not subscribe to this app. Been member since 2019 and cloud deletes progress.

I updated my iPad to a newer model last year. Transferred the puzzle app to the new iPad and BANG all the challenges gone, all progress in each category gone, all completed monthly pages gone… everything gone…..except the scores for the challenges were removed from my score but the scores for all other progress was retained……except now when I play the challenges it sends me to already puzzle pages marked COMPLETED, makes me play the game then give me no points because it’s already completed HUH. After 5-6 months of this nonsense I checked my puzzle cloud was turned on TICK then deleted the app and reinstalled and then WOW it had now deleted all the completed games to today, all progress scores and all challenges gone BUT the points were the same. So I then checked on the cloud status and yes it’s on so I synced the cloud and, yes now it deleted 2000 points as well. My subscription ends in May this year and sadly if this hasn’t been resolved by then I will not be paying for another year. Oh yeah well done on the app web page. 88 days ago this issue was identified on IOS devices and all we get is a gee sorry about that. No notification on the app page just something hidden way down deep.

  • Have to pay, layout is overwhelming

I gave this a shot and really enjoyed the variety of puzzles they had! Some puzzles I had never heard of or tried before and they were really fun. For example I love sudoku and they had a “killer sudoku” which was similar, but different. It was very fun to try a new spin on a familiar game.
Unfortunately, I could only play for one day without having to pay money to get more tokens to play. So I had to delete the app because I personally don’t want to pay for puzzles that you can get in many other apps for free. I do like, however, that you can access a large variety of puzzles on one single app with this.
As a side note - I also felt that the layout of the whole app is very confusing and overwhelming. All of the different pages, “daily page”, “special issue”, calendar, etc. all look the same and idk what the difference is. Why not just have all of the puzzles available for the day displayed on one page where you can scroll down and see all available with a search bar at the top. The squares that display the games are of different sizes and colors which is unpleasant to the eye. There’s also moving adds in the middle of an already jumbled set of games on the page. An app/web designer would do wonders.

Thanks for your feedback. There’s a variety of ways to earn Tokens within the game to continue playing for free including: daily rewards, completing specific objectives and participating in timed events. Please refer to the in game ‘Help’ section for more information.
  • Too many crosswords

Good app but too many crosswords/challengers games. As a non-native English speaker I find these games sometimes too hard. Less of these would be much better.
