I love the game the little time I did play it, there is no explanation how to play it, Do no know how to play the game, I can’t get any further than level 10. How do you earn stars to move on to the next level. Can someone please help.
  • Well made app

This is a truly well made app I gave it to my nephew and he enjoys it.

It would be nice to have a feature where a commonly misspelled word are mentioned and the user type the spelling of the word a thumbs up if the word is typed correctly and a thumbs downfield it typed incorrectly. Food for thought.

  • This app is amazing!!!

I love this app! It is so easy to use and honestly, I think it was the reason I won the spelling bee.
I have read the other reviews and I have not had any trouble with ads or any problems with the app at all.
Thank you, developer, you have made my spelling better. 😁☺️🙃🤓😎🤓😁😉😜😆
  • Scholar is Great Games for adults

Scholar is a wonderful game. I’m a retired teacher and this game keeps my brain sharp in areas that I need to stay sharp. When I play Scholar, not only am I mentally stimulated, I’m also maintaining very important skills and brain functions. Only problem, I’ve reached the last level and I’m waiting for Scholar to create more levels.

  • Why not do it

Hello if your reading this I like your app but you can make it even better if at that end of the level you have to spell the whole word example you tell me to wright little and I just wright it you can’t give me any other words that are the same but spelled wrong .

    Sincerely, Victoria

  • Overall

I really love this app. I also read some of the other reviews. The ads are not the dev’s fault. Repetition is good, it helps a lot to memorize the misspelled words. Without it, we could still just misspell the same word after a while of not seeing it. I also like how you can go to the repetition section and just repeat the previous misspelled words. I used this app last year to train my brain for a spelling bee at a college and there were many words that were similar or had the words that were there.
Text mainly for the dev: I would especially like for you to add a few things. Maybe try having the pronunciation after we get a word right/wrong and then have a button to skip it for people that know the word or those who want to memorize it. And a definition will be great, too! This my take some work and time, but this will be very beneficial. Thank you!

Thank you very much for your feedback and your ideas. They are great. I will implement them in future versions of the app.
  • Amazing spelling app!!

This was the app I’ve been looking for and finally found! I needed something to test me on random words, not just a list I’ve made myself. Scholar helps when you are studying for a bee and need some extra words to practice other than the given list. It has different levels, and my favorite thing about this app is that once you click a wrong misspelling of a word, that word is now in the repetition section, and it gives you all of the words you missed, and basically retests you. All of your past misspelled word also show up in the dictionary area, for future reference on what you need to study more. I would recommend this app to anyone who is studying specifically for a spelling bee, or even just someone who wants to improve spelling capabilities!

  • Perfect for an upcoming Spelling Bee!

A very simple, yet effective app! I think the repetitions are absolutely necessary. They help you REMEMBER how to spell the word, it literally Imbeds the word in your memory so you don’t forget. Another benefit is that when you have to spell a similar word, you recognize patterns from previous ones! It is exactly what I need!
Although I often see simplicity as a good thing, it can get boring sometimes. Maybe you can add different modes so the game doesn’t get too repetitive?
For example, maybe you can add a hard mode where there is a sound effect of someone saying the word, and you have to spell it?
Okay, maybe that’s a bit out there, but you get the idea.
Thank you for reading this! I hope you have a wonderful day. 📚

Hello Amelia, Thanks for your feedback! This is the best review ever. I added this to my to-do list. Happy New Year! 🎉 🎄🎊
  • Exactly What I Needed!

In a day of autocorrect, we sometimes forget how to spell the most elementary words. This simple app will help you keep your mind young while simultaneously upsetting yourself about how much you rely on technology instead of your own mind!
  • Good app

Other than the adds, this app is a good study tool if you are trying to brush up on spelling. Has many of the most commonly misspelled words & has a “dictionary” option if you don’t know what a word means.
