So why waste all that money on smart card machines? We need a passing loop on the Abbey Line so why waste the money on obsolete infrastructure?

The app is efficient and user friendly.
The biggest irritation with it it having to randomly collect my tickets from the station.
I prefer electronic tickets which are more convenient and greener than printed tickets.

The best way to buy all mainline rail tickets. A shame that they all don't convert to QR codes.

Top app, great to use in Apple wallet and also they send email. I use this app to book all my rail tickets, regardless of what company the fragmented privatised nonsensical rail system in Britain forces us to use. London NW are the best, the app is easy to use, the staff are great, they are cycle friendly.
