Poor user experience
Connection between phone and drone frequently dropped. Also found app closed by itself mid-flight. I would have expected the drone to automatically land if it can’t communicate with the user’s phone. No, the drone keeps going in the direction it was last instructed to follow. I daren’t use the drone outside as it would have been lost in minutes. I have returned this product for a refund.

Incredible!!
I love this app (and drone) and it is really easy to use especially for beginners! I have never had a problem with this at all. I guess one thing they could add would be battery power, It pretty good but sometimes to short. I love the camera as well!
App Spontaneously Crashes
The app will consistently crash as you are flying your drone, leaving the drone uncontrollable and exposed. I crashed mine into a tree because I could not tell the drone to veer away from it. The WiFi range is pathetic and will also fail, granted less consistently than the app crashes. The point remains, losing connection with the drone for any reason while flying is unacceptable. I would not recommend the DJI Tello. The C-Fly faith mini is a bit more expensive but a much better drone with an actual controller. Incredibly disappointed and dissatisfied with such poor performance from a seemingly reputable company like DJI.

Trust the app before flying
I bought the drone a little over a year ago, and after a short break I decided to fly it and it flew away and I lost the drone. This was a replacement drone as well and it was a few days after the one year warranty expired, so I never bothered getting another. I will give Tello credit since their service is good and they were helpful in getting me the replacement, but people planning on keeping a drone for a long time should go for a more expensive alternative like the DJI Mini which I am now using.

Very good but could have better control when windy
Very good but could have better control when windy. Since my school uses Tello Drones I use the app a lot but at my school we sometimes fly the drones outside but when it was windy the drone nearly lost control and it crashed twice! Also there is bad connection or is very hard to connect to half of the time. Would rate it a 3.5 stars if I could so I did 4 stars instead.

Okay
The drone itself works really good and it is easy to fly but the drone can only go so far away from you before it is impossible to fly also the battery life is terrible it lasts for about 20 minutes max overall the drone is good and would recommend it for most people.
The solution
At first it wasn’t connecting but turn on auto lane mode then turn on wifi connect and BOOM it’s on!!!!!!!!!!!!
Easy to use
This app is easy and fun to use but you need practice to get the hang of the drone the controls are easy to use and the camera is good quality I’ve tried all the app functions and they work just fine :) an easy 5 star
Great app, photos high quality.
Only complaint I have is the horrible battery life on the drone but an easy workaround is to bring 2 batteries when using it, the photo and video quality is to be reckoned with and the controls are easy to use and convenient. Would recommended getting a third-party wireless controller to connect to your phone like a Gamesir controller (Really helped me out)

Not connecting
I got a Ryze Tello drone for christmas and got the app. It worked great at first but then just today I tried flying it again and it would not connect with the app I tried everything made sure I was connected it still wasn't working so I downloaded a different app called iTello and i am able to fly it with that app but that one doesn't allow me to connect my controller so please tello fix your app i need my controller
