i truly love this app. i do. but its the second time syncing does not work and i lose all my content. please make a way to store your information because its really heartbreaking for all your entries to disappear.

So I wanna start off by saying, I really love this app. It’s so promising. However definitely needs some adjustments. As I read in a few other reviews, I too would love love love to be able to use in landscape mode (I’m using on an ipad pro with a keyboard) and the whole freezing thing is way too recurring.
Small things I personally would enjoy (but probably not necessary haha): ability to duplicate post, more customizable text features like underlining, strike through, etc., maybe a today view, more flexible organizing besides just categories/sub-categories.
Also, I don’t really get the emotions feature?
Overall I like the concept and simplicity. Looking forward to seeing it grow/change!

Landscape orientation needed
I bailed on this because there’s no landscape orientation and my iPad has an external keyboard. I hope there are plans for this!
app freezes
the app only works while on airplane mode and even then will freeze up not allowing any movement or tapping on screen at all. does this quite often.
How have I lived without this app?
I still have some things to figure out, like can I sync across devices, and how to get my timed events in order, but I love, love , love how free my brain feels right now with all my to do items categorized and out of my head. I love that I can bullet point and check list them....or not 😀. I am also going to try and use this as a daily journal. Wish there were more colors to choose from for categories and wish I could add pictures and videos to my journal section. Otherwise, PERFECTION!

Screen Orientation Issue
Deleted this app due to it’s screen orientation. Only works in the portrait mode. I use an iPad Pro with a Smart Keyboard which is always in Landscape mode. Emailed the developers but got no response.
i really want to love this app!
the app was so great when it was working, but for the past month or so, it just freezes up on me every time i try to use it and it’s so frustrating! i have a lot of notes that i’d like to see on there, but i can never scroll because the app just freezes. please fix this issue!
Great Journal
I’ve tried my hand at a couple of journal apps and I’ve had my fair share of time using most of them. A lot still have more bells and whistles than this one does but I guess that’s what does it for me. The simplicity, functionality, and overall how well organized and useable it really is. My biggest thing is that I can’t add photos but I hope that changes in the future. Overall I really enjoy the UI and I’m glad Sunset exists!

Awesome for journaling quick thoughts! I use this mostly to remind me of things I should focus on when I wake up. So far so good!
