WAS hopeful

When I figure out and downloaded the app and got connected to my Wi-Fi I was dismayed to see that I cannot turn on or off the fireplace with the app nor change the heat, flame, etc. on the fireplace.

Like others, I am not sure this app is worth the trouble to download.

Routine

It needs to be able to have routines such as “turning on at 5:00am” and “turning off at sunset” or something similar. My mind went to Alexa and they don’t have you listed. The remote works fine via phone but I don’t want to have to manually turn it on every time. My purchase my choice. Let me control it how I want to control it

Disappointed

The only reason I bought electric heat was to be able to control it via WiFi. I can’t even get my phone to connect to the heater and when I do I have to go through the whole set up process for it to work. The app never stays connected. It sad and disappointing that I got suckered into this whole thing.

Won’t stay connected to phone

Love it when it works, very frustrating when it disconnects from my phone. No rhyme or reason to when it is going to disconnect and then getting it connected takes several tries. I have even uninstalled app and started over...even that doesn’t always work.

Bad

It keeps disconnecting from my Wifi so if I want to turn it on anytime I have to reconnect and if I’m off the app for a while but my fireplace is on, it gets disconnected and again I have to reconnect to turn my fireplace off or change anything. FIX THIS!

No Connect

I could never get connected. Connected directly to 2.4G and still no luck. Would have been nice since the remote that came with it died after about a month. Timed out numerous times while attempting to set up. Controls in video are not even the same.

Will not connect to WiFi

The fireplace will not connect to the WiFi. Even after reaching out to them. I have done all of the things you have suggested. The fireplace still will not connect to WiFi!!!

I wasted several hours the other night and again today following your direction. This is the worst product I have worked with. I went on to your application FeboLink and your reviews all say the same thing!!! No one can get connected or keep it connected.

You should really make changes to your product and provide better assistance to those who have wasted money and time trying to get it to work as you state!!

Spyware

Stopped using this app due to the permissions it requires. Maybe they could explain why they need accurate location data, cellular data and wifi network access - not just a wifi connection to use a fireplace you paid for. I use the remote that came with the fireplace and not my cell phone anymore. Writing to the company that makes the fireplace to let them know they need to use a different app.

Sorry, after iOS 13, all app have to get the permission of location to get the Wi-Fi ssid. Otherwise, we cannot link the device to your Wi-Fi. We respect the user's privacy, and do not collect user's information.

Save your remotes/save your time!

They’ve changed so many things in the app that nothing seems to work now. The app asks for your location ?!?! I don’t understand the logic behind that.. Then they want you to set up the device through your wi-fi; but it doesn’t work. Smh. Sadly, we all want to give this a try but it never delivers. What a waste of time..

Before adding the fireplace, please connect your phone to 2.4G Wi-Fi. If the connection fails, please unplug the power, then plug in again. Try to add the fireplace again. If not resolved, please contact us.

NEVER CONNECTS TO WIFI

Just gave up on this app, can’t get past step three when I add the password to my 2.4GHz WiFi. I just decided not to use it and hope I don’t lose the remote control. Would give zero stars if I could since I literally can’t use the app. The video the developers give also doesn’t help.

We are so sorry to hear that. But if you still want to try, Please contact us by sending to email: febolimited@icloud.com. Because some options in router may lead to failure like WMM. Or maybe you can have a test. 1.Using another phone as a hotspot. 2. Connect device to this hotspot to see whether the device wifi is ok.
