Remote, blower etc

Got the fireplace to connect to the app and the WiFi but doesn’t blow out any heat even though it’s on 90° and says it covers 1000 sq ft. I’m sitting in front of it and cannot feel it at all. The app works every fifth time you touch the option.

Why do you need to know my location?

I have used this app for the past year. Never needed to know my location until recently. Why? How will that enhance my experience? Great fireplace horrendous app!!!!!

We are sorry for your misunderstanding. It's not our purpose to get your private info of your location, but after iOS 13, we have to get the allow of location to get the wifi ssid. Otherwise, we cannot link the device to your wifi.

Trouble connecting

We have 2 5GHz WiFi connections and 1 2.5GHz. It will not connect t to the 2.5GHz connection.

Why do I need to enable my location to use this app

Not gonna give a good review to a fireplace app that needs my location for it to work. Why on earth would a fireplace app need my location??

App loses the settings, make it smart home compatible!!

When the app works it is great, about 90% of the time it doesn’t work and since it is WiFi it would be awesome if you can connect an Alexa or a google home to it

Does not work from anywhere!

The fireplace is beautiful, but to start with one of the fasteners that’s holds the top to the side won’t hold so it was basically broken from the first set up. After fighting for quite some time, I finally got the WiFi to work... the key selling point for me (I am a truck driver) was being able to turn this on and off remotely. I couldn’t get it to work so I emailed customer support. I have yet to get a response from them. I even purchased an echo dot to try to run it but that hasn’t worked either! I am planning on returning this fireplace as it is not helping my energy savings that I was trying for! Total waste of money!!!

We are so sorry to say our fireplace doesn’t support to be turned on through internet for security reasons. Our App is only used in your home network with fireplace. The goal of app is to provide another kind of convenience in the context of security.

Heat isn’t coming out

Not sure how to make the heat work

It was good while it lasted

We purchased our fireplace a year ago and the app worked fine. With the recent updates it will no longer remain connected to our 2.4Ghz WiFi. Time to find the remote that came with it.

It's a bug of iOS 13, we have fixed this problem in 3.1.21. Please have a try.

App does not connect to my WiFi

I have tried many times to get the app to connect to my WiFi but no luck. Very disappointed 😡

Won’t connect to wi-fi

Follows easy instructions for wi-fi connect, but it will not connect. There is no trouble shooting guide.
This was for 2018 Anderson Fireplace stock# 384-17A-20-03.
