  • Great game that’s even better the second time around.

XI had this game loaded on an older iPad and was enjoying it then. I decided to start completely over when I finally replaced my old iPad with the latest version. There seems to be features to this game that weren’t there before, making the game even better than before. There’s three different games under Simon’s Cat and all three a really well made and fun to play. Additionally, unlike some of the really cheesy games that are free online, this game is completely ad free. You have the option to make in-game purchases and/or watch some commercials in order to get yourself some advantages, but neither are necessary to play the game. Thus, you can really enjoy your time here without being annoyed by a relentless barrage of unwanted advertisements.

  • Fun and cute

I ended up downloading this app after seeing many ads for it while playing other games. It looked cute and had cute sound effects, and it looked fun! It did not disappoint! Even after over a year of playing I’m still entertained by it. The animations are cute and funny, and the sound effects/music never get old like some other games. They also do a lot of giveaways on Facebook which I find super generous. The levels are challenging enough to keep me interested but not so hard that I give up on the game. Best game out there in my opinion.

  • IRRITATING TIME OUTS

I really like this game but it has one incredibly irritating and annoying aspect. It keeps timing out on what are called key lock gate levels. Even if you defeat the lock on the first try, the game times you out for 4 HOURS!!! Times outs are for EACH of three keys on one level. This is particularly annoying when another aspect of the game is running on a timer as well and you lose time on that booster. I don’t understand why a game with ads would block out someone from playing it???!!!??? I’m not talking about losing lives and waiting to get them back. This annoying time out is even when you win a round! It’s almost enough to keep me from playing this ADDICTING but annoying game! It would be a 5 STAR game if just this one aspect was changed!

I see I’m not the only one complaining about this aspect. Time gates may be common in games but that doesn’t mean they have to be present. Time outs when you’ve lost lives is one thing... total FOUR HOUR stops (really EIGHT to TWELVE) because there are three keys) IS ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS. Put a gate time if you think you must, but make it much less time.

And please explain the rationale behind them more than just everyone has them. It just makes NO SENSE!!!

  • I’m blown away by this game to be honest

This game is so much fun! I enjoy the variety of levels and items you can get. I REALLY REALLY appreciate the rewards where it gives you 24 hours of endless lives so you can keep playing and playing, that’s seriously such a fantastic game feature. While you can spend real money on this game I wouldn’t say it’s necessary at all. I play and use whatever items are rewarded to me. If I have to wait a while to play and unlock keys when I get to those gates then so be it. It’s a really fun game and I highly recommend it.

Cons: please don’t have those ads pop up every time you go to the home screen, I don’t want to purchase that “weekend deal” and it constantly pops up. Otherwise everything is great.

  • Super fun!

I downloaded this a few hours ago and have been playing nonstop (which is kind of unfortunate because I’m supposed to be cleaning my house lol).
I love Simon’s Cat and the cast of characters in the game, which is why I decided to try it. They are too cute. I wasn’t sure the game would hold my attention, but I’m really glad I gave it a try. Popping bubbles is so gratifying!
I like that there’s not tons of ads. I can choose to watch them if I want and earn extra coins. This is the best way to get people to choose ads instead of the ads being forced on you like in some games- it ruins your enjoyment of the game a little.
I don’t totally understand how to get the stars on the levels, but it’s not impacting my enjoyment of the game. Someone who likes to be more competitive will enjoy figuring out the way to maximize points, but for me, I’m just over here happily popping bubbles. Definitely recommend for all gamers.

  • Enjoying the game but...

Since downloading the game I have enjoyed numerous hours mindlessly popping bubbles to free the animals. However, I have two complaints so far. The first being that while the game is open, even when I am not playing, my IPad doesn’t shut down. Therefore the game is draining the life of my IPad. Small thing I know, but I am accustomed to my IPad shutting down when not in use. The second is that sometimes the “watch ad” takes so long to load that it closes before I can actually watch it and I don’t get the two free bubbles. The game resumes play with two less bubbles. I can catch it sometimes when it is taking a while to load and spend one coin for the two bubbles but I shouldn’t have to do that. Otherwise, I enjoy the game. It helps to pass the time during my hour long daily commute.

  • Just another dumb bubble pop game

So, I’ve read many negative reviews of this game where players say it’s too hard, etc. then the developers “reassure” the players that the levels are beatable without spending money. Basically, that is a blatant lie!

I have played MANY levels on here where it is simply impossible to beat the level, even with using the power ups. For instance, I just played Level 84, used the Owl Vision, Triple Swap, Umbrella and watched the ad to get extra bubbles. Guess what? Still lost the level and was prompted to spend in fame monies to buy even more power ups. Tell me how that’s not rigged? Especially when I get 6, YES 6!, blue balls in a row when there is no place to play them except on each other!! Also, playing them on each other does NOTHING to advance the game other than waste throws.

Bottom line: the game is rigged...and now deleted from my phone! BTW: don’t bother with a developer response!!!

  • Happy to support one of my FAVORITE animators

The game itself is so fun. The learning curve makes sense, so you don’t feel lost or frustrated if you have to keep trying to pass a level. My favorite part are the booster cats. I love how They’re all so excited to get treats, EXCEPT Jazz, who get fussy and pouts when he doesn’t get any. I crack up every time :)

HOWEVER— if you haven’t seen his animations this game (and the others) are based on... DO IT NOW. They are so cute and hilarious and ridiculously relatable if you own a cat.

My Nana told me about this game and was ecstatic that he’d branched out. Great game, great animator. 10/10.

  • Love this game! A weird issue lately though

I absolutely love this game and am addicted lol, it reminds me of Tetris but with cats! Yay! One thing I’ve noticed lately is that the plus bubbles don’t seem to credit properly. It doesn’t happen every time and didn’t used to happen at all. It’s cost me as many as six bubbles and when you are running low that could save you! I’ve only noticed this within this last update I believe and especially in the endless challenge - which is super cool in itself but getting no bubbles when I hit the + ones is ruining the experience a bit. Please help me keep saving critters! Thanks

  • Fun game

I don’t usually play this type of game but this game is just plain fun and very relaxing. I really like playing it. I changed my review from five stars to three. It is still a fun game BUT it is a very money hungry game. If you don’t buy points you can only play a limited amount of games before you are blocked out for a period of time and then you can play but you start over again. I don’t like games that basically blackmail you into paying for them while pretending to be free. As much as I love playing this I’m deleting it. I refuse to waste my money playing an online game when there are plenty of others for free. I changed my review to a two. I still love this game but I have never see such a money-hungry game. Not only does it wait 5 to 20 minutes to continue playing for free, but at some point the game becomes impossible to win if you don’t buy extra lives. Not gonnna do it and the game is now useless to me unless I am willing to buy lives.
