Dreadful app & web page

Both web page and app have failed to complete my booking even though I’ve tried several times - error is useless syntax message which means nothing. App failed to recognise I gad an id then failed to let me register. Absolutely awful for what are basic communication channels in a digital world !!!

Useless

I need to change my booking but have forgotten my password. I can’t re-register as my email is already registered, I can’t change my password without entering my password. Crazy!
It doesn’t deserve a star but I can’t send the review without one.

Shows wrong dates for my booking

Not a good start. Having changed dates for booking on the phone with the booking office, several days ago, the app shows original dates for the booking.

Pretty basic function one might expect to work.

This is garbage and I’ll delete the app from my phone now. Not really worth having an app if this is the standard.

Poor app

This has to be the worst app that I’ve ever had to use. you can’t top up your tickets, you can’t find your tickets and when you come to check-in there is no tickets in the app and they won’t let you board. And they closed my old account so I can’t even use that😡😡😡😡

Oh dear...

This app has to be one of the most unintuitive and frustrating apps I have ever used. If you want to test the limits of human sanity, try using this app when you need to get a last minute ticket and are rushed and stressed.

Basic tasks like looking for a timetable or booking a ferry are so much harder than they need to be. Save your phone’s storage and use the website (not that that’s much better...).

As a person who needs to use the ferries often, please PLEASE make this app more easy to use for basic tasks like checking timetables and booking tickets.

Loads of obvious improvements needed

For regular users there needs to be an ability to book quickly with defaults already entered e.g. saved vehicles, default routes, 1 passenger, default to ticket pass if only one etc. Also auto login if using app. It could be made so much easier to use with minimal development.

Hi JCS2222 There's an update soon that will remember the route you choose and add a passenger by default. We're looking at ways to get other preferences into the booking flow. It should already know you're logged in when you book through the app so you shouldn't have to log into to complete the booking.

Stability seems to be improved

I have just downloaded the latest update after being notified of a fix and it seems to have resolved the issue. Great one WightLink. Thanks

Hi TommieeTippee, , sorry, this didn't affect all devices but we have a new version with a fix so please try updating.

App issues

Unfortunately on an iPhone 11 you cannot use the multi link pass on the app as most times when you open it the app immediately closes down. Results in having to use the paper pass instead

Great way to book tickets and find out about sailings

White Font + white background

Oh dear. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear!
Who’s brainwave was it to come up with a white background and white fonts.... without offering the poor user the choice to switch??
Filled the registration out and have I got the correct info inputted? How on earth would I know!
Please rectify this at your convenience?
