  • Graphics fine, game lplay average

The graphics are fine and as long as you do the paid version, the ads go away. The main issue is that the gameplay really isn’t very good. You really have to try to try to lose. Most of the time you can win, at worst second so it does get a bit boring after a while.

Plus at least in the iPhone 11 Pro and XS the “queen” icon covers the hearts total for the right hand player.

Fix those two things and it goes to 5 stars.

  • Not true Hearts

I played Hearts for many years at work. This game does not follow through as a real person would. The opponents seem to play based on the value of the cards. It will play the Queen of Spades on themselves when they are holding the ace and king. Normally, a person would not play that on themselves unless they were going to try to run the cards. It’s a bit frustrating when playing and the computer plays a dumb move.

  • Artificial difficulty added.

I’ve been playing for several hours now. Artificial difficulty is definitely added to this game. After noticing it, I tested it by repeatedly starting new games and seeing what cards the AI passes on to me. If you try to get rid of a suit from your hand on the opening pass, the AI passing to you will load you up on that suit 9/10 times. If you don’t try to get rid of a suit, you’ll get passed high spades instead. Every. Hand.

Aside from this, it’s moderately fun and the artwork is nice. But shame on the developer for not making a truly fair game.

  • Kool game..!

Hey I didn’t even know how to play hearts before this! I do have/ had a couple of other games and they have some very long ads. To my surprise, this one does not! It has ads but they are very minimal. You get to actually play the game. Only thing is is you play the same 4 players. But hey this game is well deserving of this rating!

  • Disappointed

Sorry to say but “Barbara” two times in a row shot the moon. Okay, it can happen. But when both times she could have been stopped by other computer opponents, it’s maddening. Knowing that she purposely took the queen of spades, they should have dropped a heart on a hand someone else was sure to win. So I don’t trust this game and therefore spent $3.99 for nothing. Also, I have shot the moon by leading low hearts and no opponent ever stepped up. So there should be a a fix in order.

  • Offensive apps

I love the game but the ads that run between each round (about every 2 minutes) are often very long(much longer than any ads I've encountered with other apps), usually there is a second ad, and some of them have a disclaimer of being for over 18 which they definitely are - should NOT be accompanying an app that is not rated for 18+. I did not see any such warning before installing the app.

  • Good game

I really enjoy this version of the game. I bought the paid version, otherwise the ads are really intrusive. Someone commented about not saving the game when exiting, but I have not experienced that. Some suggestions: have the option to hide the point counts during the game so I can train myself to pay attention to who has received the hearts cards/how many have been played.

  • Killing my battery life

Whenever I play Hearts, the game puts a heavy drain on my phone’s battery. I’ve suspected this was happening since I installed this app a few weeks ago. I found that my battery was really low and a couple of hours off of the charger. I just ran a “test” first thing in the morning with the phone plugged in all night and the game not in RAM. The phone was cool to my touch. I then played one game of Hearts with the phone still plugged in. After playing one game, I felt my phone and it was hot. Note: the phone was not held in my hand while playing the game and was on a cool surface.

  • Hearts

Hearts: I see it is a new game. I love how it works: clean and efficient. There are two problems I have run into. 1) it turns itself off and I have to open it again. That happens couple times per game. 2). I went to your website and the "support" page does not work. I was able to put in my name and email only. The next question "country".was visible but the screen would not scroll up in order that I could fill out the form. If you can fix those two problems, I will give you a 5 star rating. Thanks for your attention, Helen.
