Thank you. My other app like this went away.
I used to have an app just like this by Blacktree, but it stopped working when iOS 15 came out in September 2021. It doesn’t even exist on the App Store anymore. I really miss that app. Edit. I use the short beep. Which the other chime app had the same sound, but with this one it’s always two beeps every time it goes off, but with the other it would do two beeps on the hour, and then only one at the half hours and quarter hours. that helped with understanding what time it was easier. So with the other one I had it set to go every quarter hour, but because the short beeps are set up the way they are on this one, I only do every half hour. any consideration of possibly changing the short beep setting would be appreciated.

Needs to be updated for iOS 17. I used to have an app just like this by Blacktree, but it stopped working when iOS 15 came out in September 2021. It doesn’t even exist on the App Store anymore. Great app!
I really love this app but it stopped announcing the time after iOS 17 update. I’m using an iPhone XR. I even uninstalled it then reinstalled but still didn’t work.

Too loud! Hurt my ear :(
This app is great for time blindness. I have a chime that goes off every half hour. BUT! You cannot change the volume of the chime. It is WAY too loud for me generally, and this time I was in the middle of listening to WhatsApp message with my ear against the phone when it went off in my ear. It has really hurt my ear with how loud it is. Please can I request that the developers make an adaptation so that the volume can be adjusted within the app, and also it shouldn’t be able to play that loud through the speaker whilst the phone is in any sort of close listening mode. I am a musician and eardrum pain like that could potentially affect my livelihood. My ear actually hurts.

It chime for about a few weeks then it stop.
Uninstalling..
Discreet beep on the hour
Grew up with a cuckoo clock in my room which went off every half hour. This is easy to configure. The yellow colour screen is a bit hard to read against white writing. But then my sight is not quite what it used to be. Gives you the options of sounds and intervals
Doesn’t speak over podcast
I want an app that will announce the current time at five-minute intervals while I’m listening to a podcast. While taking long walks or gardening, I don’t want to have to keep taking out my phone to check on the time. Chime does not do this. While the podcast is on, Chime is silent. (And its minimum is 15 minutes. And the 30 minute and 15 minute chimes are just a sound — the only way to get the actual time spoken is if you select the longest, 1-hour, option.) And as others have noted, the links to support and developer website just go to an empty page. Oh well.

Very useful when it works
It makes a big difference for me when it works
I’m always having to adjust the notification settings. It’s frustrating
My phone is in do not disturb most of the time and the app is on the list of apps allowed to notify me.

Could be designed better for voiceover users to use. Edit. Thank you so much for updating.

I use the retro beeps.
