  • Excellent Action Game

This is a fun, high quality game. If you’re not used to this type of game, it might be difficult. The on-screen controls can be a little awkward sometimes, so if you have a controller, it’s best to use it. But you can play through the whole game without one once you get used to it. It also has a New Game+, which does have some changes to the map in addition to higher difficulty.

Works great on iPhone 15 Pro, but there’s a bug on the new iPad Pro 13” (M4) where the frame rate drops after intense scenes and doesn’t go back up until you toggle the graphics settings from Quality to Performance or vice versa. But for a many years old game, it still holds up pretty well. Best of all, there’s no in-app purchases or gems or timers or other nonsense.

  • This game deserves a five star review 👍

Is a pretty good game. The only down side to it is that once you have defeated all the bosses and completed the main story there is not much else to do. My suggestion is that once you complete the main story and the DLC, all the bosses get to respond after you walk away through the gates or pray on the statues just like the rest of the regular enemies do. That way if you feel nostalgic and you don’t want to restart a new game you can just fight them forever now. And also another good idea would be if we also get the option of increasing the gameplay difficulty to were all the enemies scale proportional to our level that way we’re never too overpowered and still have a good time even when fighting regular monsters.

  • Outstanding! My favourite game hands down!

Absolutely love this game and have replayed it through a number of times. Graphics are fantastic. A good variety of bosses that are really hard, which makes it satisfying beating them at last. Storyline is good as well. 10/10 from me.

Please bring out another game like this!!!
  • I love it !!!!

Amazing game, graphics are perfect, gameplay is amazing .
One of my favourites video games now, support Bluetooth controller.
  • One of the best games ever

I originally gave this 2 stars as I found it very hard. But once you get the hang of it this is one of the best games on the iPhone ! And we need to appreciate its a pay once game, and no gambling. Well done 👏
  • Good concept but awful jumping puzzles and difficulty spikes

Having completed Demons Souls, Dark Souls 1-3, and Swordigo, I hoped and expected to like this a lot.

Initially it seemed good fun and pretty playable for a mobile game. Then I got to the Act 1 Boss and discovered levels are pretty irrelevant, you have to run an almost perfect fight regardless. Went exploring and also found a side boss that's even harder plus it summons infinite minions into a tiny pit. Why this was put in Act 1 I've no idea.

Grinding through the Act 1 Boss certainly took a lot of the fun out of the game, but it got smoother after that for a while. Then I reached the jumping puzzle in the Dark Iron Mines, which is like trying to play Hollow Knight's White Palace sequence with a faulty controller. Just... no thanks.

    Came away feeling very disappointed.

  • Well rounded designed and captivating game play

Good for people who enjoy challenges and sophistication in a game.
  • So far a well done game BUT

So far the game seems rather good, however there is a problem and it’s not my IPhone 14 Pro. I can’t beat the slayer due to dodge malfunctions. I’ve fought the tutorial slayer 15 times and have only gotten close to killing it one time (that fail was my fault because I didn’t press dodge in the right direction) mainly due to a dodge malfunction I seem to be experiencing. I just fought that boss again got him down to half hp and all of a sudden my dodge stopped working, my character just wasn’t dodging as if the character wasn’t responding to me tapping dodge getting me killed, again. It’s rather frustrating I know the boss, 2 patterns now but the dodge keeps failing to work around the half hp point.

  • Amazing Mobile Soulslike

As a massive fan of the souls game, i was looking for soulslikes on mobile, but there weren’t many good ones. i can across this, and i’m glad i did. i just arrived at the nexus and from what i’ve played in loving it so far. the game clearly takes a lot of inspiration from the souls games but also does it’s own thing here and there. overall amazing game, love it. definitely would recommend to anyone who likes the souls games, and also any gamer in general.
