Excellent App

So much better than the previous BMA job planning spreadsheet. Slightly dodgy when it first came out, each version had ironed out bugs and it is now very useful. In particular, seamless integration across iOS devices and the browser version (where the reports are available). Get it now.

Response from developer

Thanks for your review. The latest version of the app allows you to enter details of PAs less than 1, and PAs can be entered with up to 2 decimal places. We’d love to speak more about your concerns and get them resolved for you as soon as possible - please contact us at drdiary@bma.org.uk

Not useable with Apple

A great concept- thought this was going to revolutionise my diary / hours monitoring; however agree with previous reviewer- it defaults to an old date, fails to save new data and keeps telling me to ‘Go online for further activities’. And got nowhere speaking to advisor on phone who just said it is probably not compatible with iPhones!

Response from developer

The items you have highlighted should now be fixed (apart from defaulting to an old date which will be fixed in the next release), you should have no problem using the app on your iPhone.

Waste of time

Appear to have lost 3+ weeks worth of diary entries....
Plus previously always defaulted to the day you started rather than current day (or where you left off) which is frustrating

Response from developer

Apologies that you have lost data, all data issues have now been fixed. Thanks for the feedback, we are changing the default to the current day, this will be completed in our next release.

Rubbish

The app crashed and with that all the data disappeared- no backup facility
Use it at your own risk

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback and very sorry to hear that you lost some of your diary entries. The issue that you refer to has been fixed during our last release, please try the app again.

Hopeless

Waste of time, please do not put this rubbish out as a pointless beta version full of faults - plagued with go online for further action, no way of going online, you click the link, nothing happens.

Response from developer

Sorry to hear that you have had issues with the app. The latest version has fixed the issue that you refer to, please update. If you have any other issues our advisers will be happy to help on 0300 123 1233.

Remains buggy

Remains buggy. Specifically, defaults to 09 Nov rather than today’s date; doesn’t accept single activites that cross midnight and most concering of all doesn’t reliably save data.
Also keep getting an error message about needing to go online for further actions, including submitting feedback via the app.

Excellent diary

The downside is we cannot enter more dcc activity it says maximum 6
I hope we can enter atleast 12 since nowadays we are doing multi tasking so i hope they update asap

Response from developer

Thanks for you feedback - are you using the list of DCC activities that you can choose from within the tool in addition to the 6 user-defined ones? We’d love to discuss this in further detail so please get in touch at drdiary@bma.org.uk

Not helpful

Seems like a good idea, but keeps losing 15 min time slots, doesn’t reflect day and has now, won’t accept any input AND has lost 3 weeks of my input!

Response from developer

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble using the app. We’d like to help you and get these issues resolved as soon as possible - please contact us at drdiary@bma.org.uk

Fell at the first hurdle

I downloaded this app, entered my email and password as requested - then when I tried to register, got an error message saying: email and password can not be empty. Well, they weren’t! I tried re-installing the app, same problem. Pity, as I would find this app useful if I could get it to work.

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback. There is an issue with saved passwords in certain models of iPhone not being recognised. You can login to the app if you enter your password manually.
