Love the app...

I am enjoying the home workouts. I will say some of the moves I have to modify since I don’t have resistance bands at home, and some of them I am strong enough yet to do. One suggestion for the developers, I would really like to have an option run the workout without the music playing. I want to listen to my own music when working out and would prefer to just hear Emily’s voice over when she talks. When I tried it recently it just drowns out my music. If this is an option, please consider making this available!! Thanks.

I never review apps but.....

I’m legitimately so impressed with this!
I purchased predominantly for the workouts as a new mum who is lazy as hell at thinking up my own exercise regime even though I am more than capable. What I wasn’t anticipating was the AMAZING recipes! Easy, affordable, delicious (toddler and husband approved) and most importantly as a time-poor milk machine MINIMAL DISHES! Every meal I’ve made has been 100% delicious. The app is so easy to use and intuitive in its functions. I love the workout videos that have the timing incorporated, the shopping list and the way you can swap meals. There is a huge variety in workouts so you can pick something that suits you in terms of ability level and body focus. I also surprisingly I really love the little motivational Emily voice overs in the videos. They make me smile 😊 100% recommend!

Home workout for a novice

I’ve followed Emily on Instagram for a good couple of years now and finally took the plunge and started the fit journey. First couple were amazing, felt sore but energised and was excited to do the others. However there’s actually very little without equipment. I don’t have a bench or resistance bands. I do have a kettlebell and weights so I’ve managed to make do but I think for something that is a subscription and not cheap, I would expect more body weight exercises and less equipment, especially when working out from home.

Overall I like it but could be improved.

Yet another person scammed by free trial

30 day free trial period was pushed through instagram with no mention of contracts or reoccurring payments. The links given lead to an app download where inputting details didn’t work and redirected to a web browser. Usually app subscriptions of this kind show in your iTunes subscriptions but because of this redirection, it didn’t show & I wasn’t aware I’d signed up for them to withdraw my money every month. No receipt was sent to make me aware of this contract and no receipts of payments were provided after each monthly withdrawal. After explaining to customer service and showing evidence of never using the app, expecting a refund of goodwill like other companies have happily provided, they have marked the email thread as ‘solved’ when it is fact in not. Other reviews point to many other people being mislead in this way. I recommend contacting an ombudsman if you’re also affected. Very poor choice for your brand image and follower loyalty.

Love This!

I have been following Emily for a while. The workouts are challenging and I love that I am not doing the same exercises everyday. The videos are well thought out and have a count down timer I live by to push through and not quit. The meals are delicious. It’s a well-rounded program.

Home workouts

I’ve been using this app for several months in the gym & love it. Now we’re all in quarantine I don’t have a gym & all the home workouts include equipment......which I don’t have, so the app is a bit useless & I’m finding myself searching the internet for other workouts. There needs to be a home workout included which involves just body weight, I’m sure I’m not the only person in this situation.

Great programme but the app is not what it should be!

I am loving the app, the exercises are amazing and so are the recipes! However, I think the app needs to be updated, it needs more features and it needs to offer more options!
The main things that would improve it immensely are two.
First it should allow the user to search recipes as you can do on the desktop version.
Second, the booty challenge or any challenge coming up, should be available anytime. The users should be able to start a challenge anytime they are able to do so. For example I was traveling when the booty challenge began and couldn’t start doing it but I want to start now, however the app doesn’t give me this option! The only thing I can do is try to navigate back 5 weeks but that is very time consuming.
The app would be much more interesting, fun and engaging if it had more features, it is way to simplistic in its design, options are key in fitness apps!

Love this app!

It really feels like you have a personal trainer, and I like that I don't have to be yelled at first thing in the morning 😂. Most other online workouts are man- heavy, this gives me space to feel feminine and still get an excellent workout! (Guys, she would kick your butts too). I really appreciate the home or gym options! A returning fan from the 2015 app- I like the upgrade! (Could maybe use some additional music, or have the option for the button during rounds like the old one did so I can play other music), but overall I am very satisfied!

Preferred the previous app

I preferred the daily workouts from the previous app. This one is good, but I find myself looking at these and saying “I’ll just put together my own thing for the day” (especially because most of the exercises in this new app, I’ve never practiced before). But then most of the time, I don’t get around to exercising because I’m not great at doing my own thing. 5 different exercises every day is better than one of these every couple of weeks. I can’t decide if I should keep spending the $ on it or if I will eventually gain the confidence to go straight into a workout without knowing what I’m doing. Having the old daily routines, was easier because I went through all the phases, so I knew those exercises.

Also, I’m upset that I previously paid for the challenges and now I can’t access them. I can’t get them through the app or website(s).

Terrible app

I love the program and I actually started following her years ago, I finally decided to purchase her program since I can’t go to the gym, so I was looking to find a good program to do at home.

The problem is not her, is the app, is horrible, boring, very behind for the present. I can’t find the sound for the videos they say that have. I can’t share my screen with my tv, so is really hard to me even with my glasses on, to follow the instruction I can’t hear or see because I only have it in my phone, an small screen.

This is the era where if you can’t improve my life in 2 clicks with the less effort, your app is useless.

Videos and program look good, work hard to improve this app.
