Stay away
I used the London service and both the app and service are terrible as is customer service. The “live view” map does not even show your location so you have to switch to another app to see your location. The pick up point on the app was two blocks away from the actual pick up point. This I missed the bus and had to wait more than 30 minutes for the next. Customer service said they would only refund 85 percent and judging by the other reviews you would be lucky to see it anytime soon. Considering it a loss we jumped on next bus it was empty. The other hop on off services ran more often and more people on them. Shame on me for not researching.

Scam!!!
Their tickets said it's valid till 3am, but the buses stopped driving after 5pm. They didn't mention it in the app or on the website. You pay a big amount of money and literally lose it. I lost $165. We can't use my tickets because when we got to our station, they said that your ticket is ended at 5pm, but in the app and on the tickets, it's said till 3am (next day). Don't use this company!!! This company is a scam!!!

Poor experience
DOUBLE DECKER Bus it sucks no AC inside.
Few rounds during the year. It run few more buses but it choose not to clearly. Bus alway full. Sorry 1 star tops as it can be better

Worst experience ever
I cannot say enough bad things about this company. Top 4:
1. Often waited 45+ minutes for a bus. I would talk to others waiting and they all had similar wait times.
2. A driver got upset with one of the passengers waiting to get on the bus. She let the people off the bus, shut the door and drove off leaving 40+ people having to wait yet another 30+ mins for a different bus.
3. The preprogrammed information you can listen to was not much and that’s only when and if the device even worked.
4. I called 2-3 times while waiting for busses to complain, I sent two emails, and all I got back was the standard “services have been rendered so too bad” response. Zero care for the customers.

This place is really bad
TERRIBLE. This place is so bad first we were supposed to do Brooklyn tour at 10 but the advertisers did not tell us the only Brooklyn trip is at 9 second they said we were go under the Brooklyn bridge and manhattan bridge on the cruise but we indeed did not go under there. And the worst part is that the people who are working there don’t even know what they’re selling there just telling you to buy it. But all do respect the going under the bridge and that part is not really topviews fault. If your a idiot buy this

Can’t access the map unless you bought the tickets.
We bought several tickets but only purchaser can see the map, so app useless unless you all travel together. Luckily we shared screenshots of the QR codes so we can use the busses separately. Bus tour is great, app not so much unless you are a lone traveller.

Scam!!!! Very tiny fleet. You will waste your precious time waiting for a bus that will never show up. Use Big Bus, Toot bus or Sightseeing brand company instead. Judge for yourself. Sit at any of the stops and count the number of buses that arrive in 15 minutes. You will clearly see that TopView is the worse of the bunch.
Any of those three are 100 times better than this joke of a company.

Bad service
I came to New York with my family and my aunt’s which resulted in 9 of us. The morning started out fine until after lunch. I was checking the time it said we had 10 minutes until the next bus came so we walked back only to find they came back early. We tried to see if we can still get on when we were a street light away. The driver saw us but refused to stop for us. We waited for the next bus and 2 showed up simultaneously. Both refused to let us on because they claimed to not have enough space for 9. I kept checking the time for the next bus on their website and it somehow went from 4 minutes to 30 minutes. Some time later, another bus showed up and said they did not have enough space either. The time that showed did not match up with the arrival time of the bus. However what did not sit well with us was that there were multiple smaller groups that was more than 9 people in total and that driver let all of them on yet turned us away. In the end, we had to wait a whole hour just for bus. Chances are that if we ever come back to New York, we won’t be using this service again.

DO NOT BOOK ANY THING WITH THIS COMPANY
What a scam this company is. Please do not book any tours with company. My bookings went missing with no explanation as to why!! Asked for a refund, they just said we don’t do refunds, what a joke. Looks like a lot a people are having trouble with this company
App doesn’t work
There’s no map. No real time tracking. The links in the help page don’t work. It took nearly two hours to do just nine stops on the downtown route. Avoid!
