Traffic, traffic, traffic
I did this tour 10 years ago and was excited to get the tickets so my 3 friends who have never been to NYC could see as much as possible. Didn’t go near enough to most things I hoped they would see. Stopped by traffic at places but then sped up when he could, so no time for pictures of things even in the distance. Very frustrating. Secondly, I am on a walker and was not told we would not be taken back to stop #1 where we got on near The Crowne Plaza where we are staying. Fortunately, the supervisor was there at stop 17 (end of tour) and was kind enough to get us at least to stop #18 which did help. You need to notify passengers that all have to get off the bus at 17. It shows the red line going from 17 to 18 and back to 1 on the map. Misleading. The driver and his helper were very courteous to all of us. We have also booked the Liberty tour and the night tour tomorrow before heading home on Wednesday morning. Hopefully, these will be not as disappointing.

Wolf of Bus Street
When you get there, you’ll notice they have a lot of people on the ground at the various stops trying to sell you a package. Demand exceeds supply so they sell you on a bus will arrive every 15 minutes. It does, but you can’t get on, not enough room and they won’t let you stand. Maybe that’s a city ordinance or liability issue, but there are only so many seats. Then if they do increase capacity because people are upset, when they supply catches up, they take buses out of service. I saw a representative kick everyone off a bus because they were taking it out of service. Oh, did I mention the service stops at 5:45. You’re better off taking the subway, and picking out your destinations if you want to take a tour, cruise, museum, and paying the fee directly. The value of the service is the transportation, but they can’t figure that out. Pump and dump, “all sales final”. Good luck

Scam
You can’t use the tickets as they said. It’s one time, not until midnight. The worst company I dealt with. When you see them everywhere, it is because they are trying to scam as many tourists as they can.
The worst experience in New York ever
I paid online 70$ while it s 22-25$ on the spot, and they don’t mention the stops neither on the app or website I had to call customer service to mention for me the place then one angry woman told me wrong place for this night so I was freezing in -3 degree for 30 min in the wrong place then I called again and one other one told me to go to another stop, then I found it and everyone was shocked from the price I paid, and the most worst thing that I had to sit down while all the glass of windows is black and blurry I never seen in my life some touristic bus with black glass .. and many other bad things so just never use the up or some website to buy the ticket go directly on the spot.

Miss sold tickets. No use and no refund issued.
Were pressure sold tickets for 48 hours for 3 people. Tickets only worked on the first day. Staff on buses even said tickets weren’t correctly sold. Have tried dealing directly and no refund offered. Were offered other tickets but no use as we left New York days later.
Not great
The headphones never played the recorded audio at all! Very disappointing. Driver was very nice but we had to take the whole bus ride with no commentary. Had no idea what we were looking at. Wouldn’t recommend
App not working.
My app will not download my tickets, the order went away and now I can’t get it back because it’s saying I already have them downloaded. We are about to go to New York and I don’t have my tickets.
Never got confirmation
Never received the confirmation number, I reached out to customer service and it took them 72 hours to find it, and by then I had already left the country. They refused to give me a refund because it was past the 7 days after purchase. Not to mention the 4 days I was there I never saw a top view bus to try to ask a driver if they could assist.

Scammers
Times Square scammer sales guy said I could hop on and hop off and could make the 5pm boat tour of Statue of Liberty at 3:40 PM. We bought the 24 hour pass. Was on the next bus and it didn’t get down there to 5:20. No boat ride for us. So we stayed on the bus thinking we’d finish the loop. Nope. We got kicked off the bus at the bus garage. Not even a ride back to Times Square. Then the bus driver tells us we have to buy another Night Ticket if we want to do any more touring.
Scams. Just walk away.

Ripoff
Have always loved a hop on hop off bus in cities, ridden them in Paris, Capetown, etc and it’s a fun informative way to get around the various sites. But this app and the NYC tour was terrible. First it’s a bait and switch, I paid for a 48 hour pass that said it “includes Central Park bike rental”. Then after you’ve purchased they send you an email that gives an asterisk saying it’s only with purchase. At that point you can’t refund the pass! So we get to the bike rental and they tell us it’s only 2 extra hours free after you pay for an hour. Obviously they get a lot of scammed people from this bait and switch bc she was very rude about it.
The app had no idea where we were and directed us to take two subway rides to get to stop 1 when we could see the Empire State Building and that stop was only a couple blocks away.
The bus ride itself was frustrating as traffic does not really move so you’re just roasting at the top of the bus while it plays music bc they can’t think of any additional info about this city to fill the time while the bus is stopped?
