Notifications do not work

When you purchase something. No notifications appear in the app.

Absolutely useless app

If you don’t have a mobile phone signal, forget it!

The app sends a text message with an OTP (One Time Password) to enable you to log in, as a security measure, with no other alternative option.

If you have a signal, great, if not, a complete and utter waste of time.

Not fit for purpose!

Terrible app

Let’s RBS down badly and the customer service when you have to phone is even worse. Moving to another credit card provider

Transaction notification delays

Horrendous app. Doesn’t notify you of pending transactions until days after you’ve tried to make a transaction. I had seven notifications overnight from purchases I’d tried to make days before. Needs a rethink as the website is t much better. Both devices at home with excellent Wi-Fi. Used PayPal instead.

Horrible app - make me move into another bank

Poor notifications.
Always on hold.
Problems on 78% of the transactions and verification, which generate the problem of card blocked

Awful App

This app is terrible and why RBS could not just with their main online banking app as they do with their personal credit cards I have no idea. I would recommend not signing up for this service. I will be leaving

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Integrating business credit card accounts into our Royal Bank of Scotland Mobile Banking app is something that is now currently under development.

Summary balance not updating

After the last update the credit card balance is just not updating with the transactions filed, meaning the ‘balance available’ figure is completely inaccurate. This has caused multiple embarrassing card declines across the company. When a credit limit is then temporarily changed for an individual card the summary does update, but this is too little too late - we only get to this point after the card has been declined. This makes the app utterly useless for keeping track on individual expenditure and limits, which is the whole point of it. Please fix this ASAP.

Edit update: I’ve just had to downgrade this now to a one star. The app is utterly useless until this is sorted. I cannot accurately keep an eye on tens of thousands of expenditure across the company, making use of credit cards now a significant risk on our risk register. Totally unacceptable that a bank app has this much risk to my business.

All working well

Was expecting problems with the app based on the comments but it works fine for me

Doesn’t work

After being forced to update, this doesn’t work. Just freezes immediately after logging in.

Does the developer not test their work?

This doesn’t happen with the likes of Starling.

Same as others app loads but then stuck on spinning wheel
