New update

The new update stops the app from opening! Could do with this error fixing 😡

Re-Install

Having had no luck logging in, I uninstalled and re-installed the App. It's working again.

Can’t login after update

Since the 4.3.0 update today, I can’t login to the app. It goes through Face ID but forever hangs on getting any further. Quitting app doesn’t help, and I really don’t want to go through reinstalling it, especially if it doesn’t fix the issue.

Total Rubbish

This app is a disgrace from such a big organisation by the time it’s up today you have already paid the bill. Slow a hell, crashes like a drunk blind driver completely useless.

The Updates have made a bad App even worse

Terrible, if RBS want business this has to be better it’s appalling. To make matters worse you can’t even visit a branch as they no longer exist, 100 mile round trip in the car!

Useless - doesn’t work

Can’t get past paperless option at the beginning. So complete waste of a download.

Endless issues with login

Login always kick me out. Facial recognition doesn’t work.
If I get my password wrong 3 times I need to phone ClearSpend to unlock the app which takes around half a hour.
Worst banking app out there.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. If you enter in your email and password and then tick the 'Remember email' option on the apps opening log in screen you wont need to enter in your email with each log in, just your password and OTP. The application will have a brand new look and feel in 2022 and we are also updating out log in journey you'll only need to enter a ClearSpend Passcode if you don't wish to use Touch or Face ID.

Login issues

Doesn’t recognise username/password on mobile app despite it working on desktop version. Doesn’t send password reset email or one-time-password to phone so can’t ever login.

Worst app I have ever downloaded

Doesn’t work, always says error, wish it was easy to use like the RBS banking app, I have got to phone every time I need a balance

Endless login battle

App gives minimal balance info, but would be more useful if it would let me log in. Every third attempt it needs a new password or doesn’t recognise mine. Always seems to happen when I’m in a hurry. Please fix this!
