Getting to the US nNews is not intuitive and there seems to be a glitch in getting it smoothly updated. The weather feature caused the app to crash. While the "Events" feature allows one to see many local happenings it is a scroll through list rather than a "Month-at-a-glance" type thing, both options would be terrific. The "Events" feature caused the iPad to freeze up.
