It took longer to get the iPhone app but that is how Apple works. I got the new app and installed it. The first time I tried to open it, the app seemed to hang for several minutes. I closed the app and reopened it. It loaded in seconds. I really like the new layout. Very clean and fast. I wish the user could swipe from story to story however without having to return to the home screen.
