Could you make it anymore user unfriendly? 14 News USED to be the local leader, but this is what happens when quicker profits champion excellence. I am certain the former and quite possibly some of the current personnel are disappointed at the direction of not ashamed. 14 is no longer any better than the rest. Or rather, an ad starts playing. Don’t have any new notifications. Everything goes to an obnoxiously loud video. Don’t always want to watch. Like to read most of the time. Judging by the list of bad ratings you may want to put it back the way it was. Automatically, a long video ad comes on, which I can’t stop, then the news guy says , “For these and others stories, check back later.” What? They didn’t tell me or show me anything. The written story is there, which I can read. I have been watching since Marsha Yockey was on black and white television. I have feedback about what my 14 First Alert weather app shows me versus what I see on the TV broadcast, the difference between the radar on TV and the app, and not being able to comment on either of your apps! My radar was 15 minutes behind actual time and didn’t match what was on the live TV coverage. ### 5/5 — Streaming news *2022-10-14, version 6.7.15* Leading station in Evansville. All their News and sports programs are available for free streaming live and archive. The other station in market does not stream their news. ### 5/5 — New 14 News app *2021-10-01, version 6.7.4* Great edition of this app. I’m so glad that there is finally a good streaming feature, such that I can just click on it and see the newscasts for the day. Please start airing Gov. Andy’s press conference in full. I know it falls at the time when local news is on - but! Now that most of us are home constantly do we really need to hear the weather three or more times during that time period, especially when it’s a beautiful day?? While we were working we appreciate having several segments of news to watch at the various times around 4 or 5 p.m., but now it’s just redundant, and we’re all anxious to see reports from him in full. We can’t always get the local KET station, so we miss out on it. Just a real thought from a loyal fan, Thanks a lot! You guys are wonderful! As for the News “app”, since the format changed to the larger bolder print, etc. in the last few months it has definitely lost the appeal and we seldom look at it anymore. The earlier format that was used perhaps a year or so ago and going back was great to easily scan the topics and read those of interest.
