Danger: Possible thermal runaway detected
Good app…. But scared me when keep getting “ Danger: Possible thermal runaway detected”…. After reading people having the same issue online, it looks like that’s a bug with Octopod?! Hope that will be fixed soon 😅
Makes 3D printing while on the go a breeze.
With this app you can monitor and stop your print if there is a failure. No more need to stick around. Also if you incorporate gadget AI it can analyze webcam image to stop automatically in the case there is a failure. Many features and works great.
Great app/plug-in
This app and corresponding octoprint plugin does exactly what it says on the tin. Ports all/most octoprint functionality from your web browser to your iOS device. It does disconnect occasionally but I can’t tell if that is the app or my server. Either way, it usually just works. Recommend.

This app is perfect for monitoring prints and controlling the printer.
One suggestion though:
1. Allow specifying a custom stream URL outside the octoprint default port 5001 or showing the correct default webcam stream selected in the Octoprint settings. I have a custom webcam url set with the Classic Webcam plug-in and my octoprint is set to use that webcam url by default for the stream view. However octopod only loads the detail 5001 one.

Hey, install the multicam plugin and you can do what you’re looking for. You can see many cameras from OctoPrint and also from OctoPod using whatever url you specify

In the world of FOSS, not every plugin is going to be easy to set up. THIS one, though, was a breeze. Setup took literally 2 minutes and I had zero problems receiving a test notification on the first try. Already running a print and getting notifications. Just top notch.

Excellent app makes printing easier
The app works well and makes controlling the printer easier and more user friendly
Works very well!
Not having to go down to my basement to interact with my printer besides removing the prints a god send. Especially being able to check in on it with a web cam gives me peace of mind during the longer prints when I’m not able to be home. I also have additional functionality that the controls built into the 3D printer.

Setting up OctoEverywhere Access Fails
Great if I’m monitoring things from home but when I try to set up OctoEverywhere s an access option, the button to login in with Google does absolutely nothing. Does not work at all, it might as well just be an image.
Amazing companion to OctoPrint
I’m new to the 3d printing game, but the ease of setup, execution, and remote monitoring has made this an amazing companion app.
Honestly, the peace of mind alone, for remote monitoring and control of my printer is just great. 100% would recommend.
