Fun at first but beware!
This game is fun and funny to play but ONLY WHEN YOU START! The game reels you in thinking oh this is fun and I’m paired equally, NOT! Once you get passed a certain level or you start leveling things up, the pairing system starts pairing you with people that are 10-30x higher ranked than you which in turn makes you not be able to play the game because the other players have much faster cooldowns and higher ranked power ups that they knock your ball into water or the board so you don’t even stand a chance. If the devs can fix the pairing system this game would be 5 stars even if there are “pay to win” features, the game would still be playable for fun and of you want to get competitive then pay to upgrade faster and get more stuff. Until the pairing system gets fixed my 2 stars are here to stay
Edit / update: a perfect example of the ranking system flaw just happened to me. Im lvl 6 and I get paired in a match with someone who is lvl 36!!!! That person wins then I play another one and I get paired WITH THE SAME PERSON!!!!! How is this pairing system balanced!!! Devs get your crap together!!!!Show lesskenroux
Fun fun fun….Then….wallet grabber
Great game. Hours of addictive fun, but after attaining a certain level, around 35-40, you can no longer progress in the game without paying hundreds of dollars. Those hats and golfer that used to cost you a reasonable amount of bucks, all of a sudden jump to 100,000 +. And to get 100,000 bucks organically, without paying real cash, will require you to play the game several hour a day for months and months, just to get a few upgrade points. The game goes from being fun and easy to upgrade till about level 20, then it becomes challenging and may coax you to pay some money to fast track your advancement, till about level 35. After that, there is almost no way to move forward without paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars. You can buy a very complex and amazing PS4 game (that is thousands of time more sophisticated than this game) for $59-79 with no need to purchase more stuff to enjoy. After level 35, you will pay 10-20x that amount to keep advancing, or accept just getting stuck at that level and nothing ever changes. Is it just me who’s getting sick of these pay-to-play games getting out of control? Am I the only one who longs for the good old days, when you could just pay for a game or an app, and then enjoy it without being forced to keep paying more and more? Bottom line, this game is fun, but if you aren’t a billionaire, you won’t get very far.Show lessBradfrogc
It’s a 10/10 from me
I rarely continue playing a phone game for more than a month or two. I’ve been playing this one for about 2 years now. The thing that drew me in was playing against actual players. And the battle royal feel makes it super competitive in a fun way. On top of that, there are sooooooo many different levels and new ones are constantly being added. Plus all the different power ups you get as you raise in level add new techniques that you have to really think about to properly use. It’s like the tomb raider of golf games lol, you use the power ups you have to solve each level as if it’s a puzzle that you’re competing with real people to finish. Yes there is a lot of in app purchases but the only real benefit to them is that you level up faster. And that really doesn’t say much for who wins or loses, it’s a brain game. The developers are constantly making updates and tweaking things to make the game better, you can feel how much they actually care. Honestly this game deserves to be one of the top dogs in mobile gaming.Show lessMJPeeps89

Hi noodle cake I love golf blitz I play it all the time trying to get good and win but I can’t win against people way to good at the game and I always get put against way higher levels then me and get smashed please fix the match making but apart from that this game is great and would 100% recommend.Show lessFlyawaydude
PLAYERS ARE SAVAGES!!
Wanna know why my title says this? Well here for example is some times I really hate ball contact.
(1) the haunted house. So I’m playing, making a new route I never tried. Then I use the power ball to make the new route. I try making a full stop but someone saw me THEY use there speed ball to kick me off WICH I worked hard making the right range of the ball.
So I have more. ALOT more. But I made this short by just this one (because it would make the review full.)Don’t believe my story? Then see or try for your self. At least meet three savage players. If you meet all three players. Please let me know. I would really appreciate it if you make a sever mode and make a choice for the host for ball contact or not. But I repeat. PLEASE respond to me if you meet these three savage players. Btw I CANT WIN A SINGLE CHALLENGE! Ever sense I got to level 10 I still haven’t won! I’m level 26 and still haven’t had a single victory! Make it fair
Hey Noodlecake , In the 1v1 challenges,I get 40+level players play against me and thats not fair. I am a level 22 and up against those high level players I loose all the time. I don't have a special skin from those micro transactions and I can get enough wins to get special items from the 1v1 challenges. I have always wanted a special emote or skin or a hat so please make it fair. I suggest that you could do the challenges with players with similar levels. Hope this helps.Show less🥳🤩😂🤣
Love the game except for 1 stupid mechanic
I love the gameplay, looks, and rewards for this game, I really do, but there’s one thing stopping me from saying this game is amazing. The fact that we get into games with people with similar trophy amounts sounds reasonable, except when we add the fact that players can get extra elixir with higher levels. For me, I have played for a couple months and I’m almost at the point where I can get that extra elixir at the start. I’m also what I would call an above average player because I have higher trophy count… which would mean I often go against people who has played the game longer or people who spend money on the game, which means I’m at a MASSIVE disadvantage without the elixir boost at the start of each round. If anyone who works on the game sees this, please consider changing the matchmaking to people around YOUR own level, not against other players around your trophy amount.Show lessLobster930
April Fool’s - Change it Back!!
They got me! My bad! Excellent game and wonderful gameplay. Four and a half stars for the game and a half star for pranking me so hard!! Well done and happy April Fool’s day to Golf Blitz!
For some strange reason the developers decided to completely change the way the game is played! Before it gave you a shadow showing where your shot was going. Now a few short arrows point in a direction that your ball might go and to “hit” he ball you have one chance to get tap how hard you want your ball hit. If you miss tap your ball goes nowhere or too far. As a Level 41 player, I find this change frustrating and unwarranted. Give us back the original Golf Blitz! If you want this type of game play make a Golf Blitz 2 or something. This is not the same game I have played for an EXTREMELY long time and invested a great deal of money in, not only for myself, but also my grandson as we play each other and I buy him the special skins as rewards for doing well around the house and at school. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS UPDATE/CHANGE. What you had before was a wonderful game that multiple generations could enjoy. Now, I don’t know if we will be able to continue playing! Hi there! This update was in fact an April Fools prank. These controls are similar to our older games, the Super Stickman Golf series. It was only live for a few hours, and then changed back to normal. If you enjoy the game as is without the April Fools controls, then we would appreciate very much if you'd change your 1-star review! :) Thanks!Well Done!!
Golf Blitz is one of the best games I’ve ever found on the App Store! It’s fun, well thought out, and awesomely enjoyable individually, with friends and family, without having to pay for it!! Instead of a Pay-to-Play, as some have said, it’s a Pay-to-Support. I won’t play any game game that requires you to pay in order to feasibly progress and enjoy it. In the case of Golf Blitz, I won’t be spending any more than the couple of dollars that I already paid. Not because I had to (or even really wanted to), but because I had some leftover cash on my account and wanted to support them. Sure, one could pour an outrageous amount into it, but, in my opinion, that’s stupid, and totally unnecessary. Even without that, it would have still been (and is) a completely enjoyable, fun, and entertaining game!! As with everything, use your time-really everything- wisely as a good steward of what God has given you, and for myself personally, the time that was able to be properly used playing Golf Blitz has been awesome!!Show less-Snowke
