Recommended but needs tweaking
Great multiplayer golf game. Ball interaction can be a blessing and a curse sometimes. Frustrating at times too.
Two items need work though.
1. It does need better matchmaking, letting players that are 20+ levels above you play with you is insanely unfair. Their stats are so much higher you don’t stand a chance. I find myself entering games and closing the app a bunch of times during the day to derank myself just so I can play against like leveled people.
2. I also find the “xp” to be a little weird. You don’t get xp from PLAYING, like you would think you would. You only get xp from unlocking hats, or golfers. There are so many dozens of these things too that you need to open hundreds of packs to get even one, and you need multiple hat or golfer unlocks to accumulate enough xp to level up. I’m not sure how my level should be tied to how many random cards I open, it should be tied to how well I play the game. Award xp for getting first place, or for beating higher ranked players or something. It feels like they are just trying for money grabs so people will buy their way to get more packs to open.

I’m writing a one star review mostly because I’ve sent 3 emails for support to Noodlecake which have been completely ignored. It’s funny because years ago when they were smaller they actually helped when I needed to recover game content from another game. Now, I’ve spent money on Golf Blitz to get the star pass last season. The game was bugged and didn’t reward daily rewards which are part of the purchase. Any respectable company would automatically issue some sort of in game reward to make up for this, but they had no response whatsoever. I emailed for this and they ignored my email. I played this game when it first launched and recently came back to it and already wasted over $30 in the short time I’ve been playing again (which by the way, $30 does almost nothing to actually boost you in game, I gained one level from this amount).
So even though this game has some fun moments I recommend staying away. It’s pricing is ludicrous and the company is so stingy with this imaginary money that doesn’t really do anything significant that they can’t even issue something to those of us that paid real money for benefits which were not received. Their non-responsiveness has guaranteed that I will no longer spend a single dollar on any of their games.Show lessTayorama

I have loved this game since the day I downloaded it over a year ago, and I’ve never had a complaint. Maybe today I’ve realized how wonderful every addition is and every spec of imagination that goes into the game is just flawless, but maybe wait a bit longer in between updates. I feel like I have to update the game almost every other time I log on to play, the updates are great and all, but it’s a pain in the toosh, I just wish it would let me get familiar with what is there before they keep adding new stuff.... oh and it would be super nice if I could play whatever level I wanted when ever I chose against a bot or a friend. Even an offline practice option so we could play our fav levels when ever. Please please please... this hame is super addicting as it is just asking for the cherry on top! Golf Blitz
Hi all gamers and creator i’ve had this game for years now and I’m still playing it, it’s great well worth downloading! It’s the best golf game I’ve come across!! Fix matchmaking
The matchmaking system right now is flawed. It measures how many trophies you have instead of similarly levelled players, which means I keep getting put in lobbies with people that are three times my level and it ruins the game. This game is rewarding in the way that requires a lot of playing to get to. Playing at first, this can be laid back, but the higher the trophies, the more difficult the opponents. Because of the constant falling up and down of trophies, plenty of players with elixir advantages usually plague the lower trophies, and while they usually go back up, this is only to fall down once again. After a while, it could get annoying, even rage inducing, trust me I’ve had my moments. The thing that pushes this is the gems. They might seem like a cheap way to get cosmetics, however when you consider unlocking cosmetics is the way you get XP to level up to get upgrades for power ups and bonus elixir, you realize how valuable they are, not to mention the upgrades to power ups available, taking grind and time, unless you have the $ to fast forward. All in all, play well, know what your going up against in terms of varying levels of skill, upgrades to power ups, different elixir amounts and GL.Show lessSomeGamingPerson
Friendly games
Hey Noodle, I love golf blitz, and I also use to love super stick man golf 3, I just would like to say if friendly matches could get more an update, such as making a setting to change, like make the ball beach ball or zero gravity, I would like to play with my friends with grenade only, or only moon ball. Could be fun. But mostly for kids with a credit card
The Stickman Golf franchise was great. This game is the opposite of that. It basically plays like Mario Kart, where the leader can suddenly be hit with the blue shell only to lose the entire race despite having had a massive lead and all without the fun of actually racing. Since the golf balls literally bounce into one another and you can ONLY play an online version of it against other people, it’s just pure luck. If someone’s ball lands on yours, you literally cannot shoot your ball until they’ve moved it. Nevermind that it’s a race and so you’re playing a race game where you’re repeatedly stalled out. Skill is maybe 5% of this game. It’s basically just a money grab kind of game. You may as well pay to build a farm because it’s the same style of game. Despite its polished look, Noodlecake deserves absolutely no praise for ruining the franchise of their otherwise very enjoyable golf game. I would note that they have disabled all online play of the previous games in the effort to get people to drop those and pay to play this game.Show lesskevinludlow82
One of the great games in the app store
Download it and give it a shot. This is one of those games where you download it and you look back a few months from now wondering how you’re still managing to play it with enjoyment.
I hear a lot of people complaining about pay to play and matching up with higher level players... stop complaining and get better. You’re matched based on trophies so if you’re playing against someone who is a higher level than you they’re not good enough anyways and they get paired with lower level players. You can beat players 10+ above you.
You dont have to throw money at this game. Get familiar with the maps and win lobbies to earn packs. Get on an active team so you can sell cards you don’t need so you can “buy” the ones you need to level up.
When you start, ditch spending money on all the cosmetics, focus your game currency on the level of your special balls
Your suppose to sabotage other players to be the first one to the whole.
There are funny emotes you can press when you are waiting in lobbies, it adds a personality behind the player
Overall this game has brought me a lot of laughs/fun and its well worth a try.Show lessjustimed
