Doesn’t work with google home hub

The plugs and the app work great however I purchased these because they are suppose to work with google home hub. They don’t. Every time I try to link the account I get an error saying linking failed. Contacted google they say it’s on Go Smart end. Cannot get s hold of anyone to help with this issue
