Hi Saedis. Sorry you felt like you had a poor experience. Never our intention. To explain a little, the photo is important because it helps the next user find the scooter, and to help encourage good parking. That in turn should make it easier for people to use Beams, and make local citizens more welcoming to Beam because we keep our scooters neat and tidy. Which in turn, should mean more Beam available for our riders. So we're sorry it's an extra step but it's there for a good reason at least and we hope you understand. On the screen freezing, it may be worth deleting and downloading the app again to clear the glitch. Please let us know if that doesn't solve the problem and we'll do our very best to assist. Oh dear. We're sorry to hear you've had a mixed experience of Beam in KL. We do indeed charge by time rather than to a fixed destination, but that's to give you the freedom to go anywhere you want (unlike Grab, where you have to pick a final destination and keep to it). And of course it's important to follow the prompts in the app when ending your ride, but please do contact us if you ever have concerns someone has used your account and we can investigate and try and get it resolved for you. Hi GSM. We're sorry you had such a poor experience with us all those months ago. Please do give it another go if you haven't already. We have a new fleet of scooters - the Saturn - on the streets that have more torque for handling those tricky hills, and the latest iteration of our app is super fast.
