Game fun? It was fun
Edit: so I am updating my review, so what I have noticed they took moves away from stages that needed more ! They made it so that when you have a chain of connected gems that make bombs and such they just fizzle and not make the bombs or those lightening things! And they nerfed the power ups …. But regardless I still see there is fun in the game :) and yes I still play it! And why is it the club things you can buy went up 2 dollars 4.99to 6.99 ??
So the game has several faults or the programmers made the game to cheat !!! When u have a l shape or 5 pieces to make a power up, they null the movie so u don’t get the power up , has happened to me more than once and not in spaces or boards that have that !!! When you move the piece to the right it goes left , that’s one !! The second is that game seems to change the color of the piece to suit or inconvenience the player!!! The game seems to not help the player so they achieve there goals, rather the game hinders them, ITS OK TO HAVE A puzzle game be hard, but not the level of cheating this game does !! Or when a piece is stuck on something like a block all other pieces go around but that one !!! Or u have to spend money to complete the stage if there is one piece or goo to cover or ice to break !!as well as when u have your chess pieces they cover the pieces under there head so we cannot see the pieces , the cakes they are FLOATING , so why can’t anything get under them !?!?!?Show lessMykiestar10
Pleased with new changes!
Edit: I had originally given two stars because of changes that were made, but they took feedback and reinstituted watch buttons. The creatures didn’t go back, but the puzzles don’t feel as hard anymore. Really pleased because I do love this game!
Original post: For the last several years this was my favorite game on my phone. I worked hard to get my favorite creature to the top level, and have thoroughly enjoyed the different spells that come from moving forward in the game. Progress was always slow and there were plenty of challenging puzzles that took a while to beat, but they were worth it because you also won regularly enough to stay determined. The recent changes to the game have ruined all that. They demoted the creature powers I worked hard to obtain, and it’s so difficult to pass any level on the first attempt now. And since you no longer get gold unless you win, you can be stuck on a puzzle for what feels like forever. They also did away with “watch” buttons that would let you add an extra few moves by watching an ad, and I’ve actually downloaded other games because of those ads. It seems like all these decisions were made to make people frustrated enough that they’ll spend money to advance. It's really disappointing that I might abandon the game soon after a lot of fun the last few years.Show lessJenMegadeath
Flattened out the game and made it boring
I’ve been playing this game for more than five years, I know. I used to love it. Apparently you had to strategize in order to gain experience you had to play over and over again to win the games and learn how to use all the tools they give you including the creatures. I worked really hard to get the high-level creatures that had the really special capabilities that someone had a magic bag, and every single one to three winner. but the powers of B has decided that the lower experience level people can’t play their play the game or they lose too much, which I experienced in my 1st few years. so they flattened out all the characters to be exactly the same. now my strategies at the window it doesn’t matter who I play with, and the puzzles are now to the point that they repeat. i’m in my common room constantly. I wish they would at least give us the choice to do the story or the common room or whatever. i’m at level 85 and I am ready to quit because it is sober right now because they flatten out all the characters to appease people who don’t know how to play the game.
It used to be so good and now it’s boring. Why didn’t you just flatten out the new characters that you get when you first start and not mess with the ones of people have worked for for so long?Show lessTea with Mrs. Weasley
You don’t have to be a Potter fan to enjoy the game!
I was babysitting a couple Harry Potter fans who kept wanting me to download the game. I was hesitant because I hadn’t even seen the movies. ( I must live under a rock, right?) This game got me hooked and now my favorite game. It even got me to watch the movies!
Something I hope they fix is the ability to ban specific people from rejoining our club. We have a child (so he claims) that keeps rejoining our club unless we make it private. If it’s private then we can have new people join on their own. This child/person joins and doesn’t contribute to the team, we boot but then he immediately rejoins. We’ve booted him at least 10-15x and he just rejoins. His chat even discourages players from staying. In the meantime, he’s keeping the club full and unable to let a contributing person join. There needs to be a feature to ban unwanted people from rejoining clubs. People are removed from clubs for a specific reason but can just immediately rejoin again on their own. This can destroy a good club. I hope our reviews are monitored and our suggestions heard. If/when this is feature is added, I will fix my review. Ty!Show lessLoveyDovey15
I really want to give is 5 stars
I am a complete Harry Potter fan and love all things Harry Potter. Of all the games I’ve ever downloaded this one is by far the best. they’ve done such a great job with levels, challenges, team play and upgrades. Until one of the recent upgrades. It has been very frustrating. Part of the puzzles is getting power ups. Sometimes you earn them sometimes you create them. The winged key power up used to go after puzzle obstacles and help in completing the puzzle. Now the winged keys will go after other power ups. Some of these levels are really hard and you have to be strategical. The power ups are there to help you not hinder you and when you have some thing saved for a specific move and then the winged key sets it off, it can completely destroy your entire puzzle and you will have no chance of winning that level. Because of this some thing that is supposed to help you makes it to where you have to play some levels over and over and over again. When it gets to that point, I put the game away and stop playing.
Side note: I’d be nice if during the Quidditch challenge and team challenge we could ask for lives from our team mates like we can on the regular puzzles.Show lessBFMKCCO
Wizarding World of Fun!
I love this game. I’ve been playing it for years and it’s by far my favorite. I’m a huge Harry Potter fan, and this game has plenty of fun elements from the movies, along with Fantastic Beasts. Good graphics too. The developers have taken comments into consideration and made so many improvements over time, all making the game even more enjoyable. I love the random option to watch adds for 3 more moves. I love the daily puzzles and events that give opportunities to win gifts. I do think the maze is nearly impossible to win chests. I wish each dot on the course didn’t have to be repeated multiple times. I’d prefer more stops before reaching creatures than playing the same puzzle over and over. However, the map is cool and I like playing it. I also like that the earned pts remain available and continue to accumulate each time it comes back around. I also agree with others that it would be nice to boot team members over time if they haven’t played in over a month or so. I’m the only member of my team who plays. I know I can change teams. It’s not a huge deal but would be nice to make space for newcomers. Regardless, I love this game. Thank you to developers for listening to feedback and making improvements. So now im level 140+ so far the game is amazing and honestly I played so many puzzle games but never seen a game like this im a huge harry potter fan and to see they care so much for the fan base is actually crazy they even made the pass cost by ingame money as an option instead of a real money if you play games like royal match .. toon blast etc the pass has to be bought with real money to buy the vip one but this game they support both paying and free to play players so that's really kind of them and coins so far are not hard to get all you have to do is pass 6 levels without losing and u get over 500 coins thats actually good deal in my opinion that they balancing stuff in the game for paying and playing for free this game is not greedy at all for a option to get a vip pass by using ingame money that shows how much they care for their fan base they deserve a 5 stars for the graphics and balancing stuff ingame. And also there is 3 ways to get creatures in the game love that! I can tell there is so much love into the game for asking each puzzle if its good or not not all puzzle games does so..Show lessHonest-Review!
Biggest issue in my opinion
So I love this game but my only issue is the fact that for the Clubs/Clans in the game if players aren’t active they just sit there. For example my club leader hasn’t been active for over a year and neither has the Officer, I feel like if players haven’t been online after a certain amount of time they should be booted from the club or at least have the leadership removed and passed on to someone else so that person can kick them out and make room for people who actually want to play the game and progress as a team
Update so I play this game with my mom I have for the past 2-3 years we love the game but our biggest issue is still the clubs 29/30 people in our club and half of the including the leader and officer of our club have been inactive for such a long time we stand zero chance of progressing because of this. I have a hard time believing we are the only clan to have this problem. Sure the easiest path would be to ditch the club and move on but again I have a hard time believing we are the only people. My clan has at most 6 active players if that 6!!!! 29 people in my clan and only 6 of us are playing we can’t boot anyone to make space for more players we can’t do anything and honestly it’s kind of crappy. Zynga and Take Two Interactive..what have you done?? I have played this game for nearly 3 years. I expect a game to be challenging AND enjoyable. But this is ridiculous. There are always glitches and cheating in the game. One recently is the wolf. If he gets hit twice in a row, he will only do one hit. This happens all the time. Now I see that you have to get 8 wins instead of 6 in a row to get extra coins. I’m in the mid 4000 level and that’s extremely hard to even get past one level without playing 10 time or more. It’s nearly impossible without using what little help you have. You have to pay a ton of money to get anywhere. It’s price gouging.
And what happened to the ads? Maybe there are changes with that. Were they taken away or you just need a new contract to get them again? I have talked to support on Instagram about any tips or tricks to help me with my game and also with my club. I’ve exhausted everything to make it a better game experience. But ever since Take Two got in the mix, it changed. It’s more difficult and costly. So much for them make it a good cloud based game. There are other games out there that can make it easier to gain items and coins, be challenging and have fun. I just can’t get over how much it’s changed. You know the saying “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it”..,but obviously zynga, Take Two and possibly Apple says $$$Show lesstoodles8201

I really like this game. I’ve been playing it for a long time. Just wanted to give out this warning to new players.. once you put any money into it at all you lose the option of viewing ads for extra moves/benefits. I used to be able to count on viewing an ad to get 3 extra moves instead of having to spend 900 coins for 5 moves, until I finally connected my card and spent .99 cents to get to my next goal which took so long to get to. Unfortunately, after that moment I can hardly move forward in the game because it is trying to get me to pay for everything now since it knows I have spent money. It’s been fun but I’m getting frustrated with it since, out of sheer bad luck, sometimes the “right” moves just aren’t available. There is no possible way to move forward without luck being on your side to win with the amount of moves that are given. I relied on the ads for those 3 extra moves and now they’re completely stripped from the game since I connected my card. Huge bummer.
