Inaccurate and loses connections at times
Having used app now for last few months in a holiday house, my verdict is it’s not great. Energy use is inaccurate - on average I estimate by a factor of two, although it can be as much as a factor of 5. It really understates . Connection to the appliance can be lost for hours or sometimes days. The level of data is poor too. No historic charts on temperature or the like .
UPDATE: I would happily work with the coders to give feedback. The energy use is still very inaccurate so I’ve now got smart plugs that monitor energy usage.

Bit rubbish
First you need an expensive hub in addition to the RF capable storage heaters. Next you cannot use a solar diverter because the Quantum decides how much charge to take and when. This cannot be overridden. Also there is no integration with modern ToU tariffs (eg Octopus Agile). It seems to have been designed for the 1970s when “economy 7” was the only ToU tariff. Finally no integration with Amazon/Google. Come on Dimplex!

Disappointing omission
Easy to set up and use. However, disappointed that you can’t lock and unlock the heaters remotely. I want to prevent holiday home guests from fiddling with the controls, but be able to change settings from afar when necessary (eg if guests aren’t comfortable or cottage has a vacant period).
Does not work with a WiFi 6 mesh network
Really frustrated with this software app ( and controller hub ) as it does not work with a wifi 6 mesh network.

No third party integration
In today’s era I’m expecting companies like dimplex to allow for third party control of devices. With the hub alone costing 100 I am disappointed it does not work with google home / HomeKit / Alexa etc.

Unlike many apps this has been designed for the user. Simple to install, easy to use and a real benefit. Love being able to control several heaters as a zone.
