I disappointed with McGill’s buses, because bus x247 to Kirkintilloch not coming in Thursday afternoon and morning. I was in trouble and so angry. This has happened quite a few times.
Why is it impossible to track this route in your app?

Hi my name is Harry first I love the mc gills buses but I can’t say that they are reliable like this one time that the app said it was due but then I had to wait 7 minutes for the bus. Okay so I was on a first bus and then I saw a screen that said what was the next stop and now I don’t really focus and get distracted around me and almost I missed the stop on mc gills bus so I would suggest that can you guys please add a screen of the next stop that would mean a lot for me since I use the mc gills buses everyday.

VERY UNRELIABLE SERVICE
I started using McGills because I moved to the paisley environs but I can tell you for free that it’s very unreliable. Vehicle breakdown happens one too many times , I have been late for appointments because there is one thing or the other wrong with the bus. As I type , the driver has asked everyone to come off because he cannot go again to the hospital and yes ! I am heading to work . The same thing happened a few good weeks ago. Now I’m concerned about its reliability, concerned about the safety and concerned about what the management is doing. Or let me guess , management is doing absolutely nothing because of course its monopoly of service in that area !

It is good but you can sometimes be wrong which is not good
App doesn’t show any bus times anymore
The app no longer shows anything I can plan a journey I can’t check bus times I’ve tried on my phone and on my iPad and I’ve even tried a friends phone no longer works app is useless and I can’t get any other bus where I stay other than mcgills would be okay if bus times at bus stops were accurate but they are not

Number 38 service
The staff on this route are very good and try their best to accommodate getting the volume of passengers on their bus……given the bus shortages due to driver shortages.
I am currently on Jim Brown’s bus and I was met with professionalism, cheerfulness and helpfulness. Many other drivers including Amed, Gerad, many others but unfortunately you don’t know their names as have not had opportunity to ask (know one was on holiday in Turkey during July this year!).
Please reward these members of staff for the great job that they do please! 🥰. Thank you. Ally

Brightness
Stop turning brightness down on my phone when accessing app! ITS TURNING IT DOWN TO THE POINT YOU CANT SEE WHAT YOU'RE DOING ON PHONE!!!! If I want it turns down I’ll do it myself. I don’t need your app to decide if I need my brightness turned down. Pffft. This is second time I’ve had to write this review. You don’t decide how bright my phone should be, I DO!

It is amazing for me to know when the buses are and where abouts
More expensive to use the App
App runs great, no issues with the implementation of the app.
If I pay cash on the bus its £4.70 for a day ticket, but on the app they’re charging £5.15
I understand there’s transaction costs, but thats a business expense for mcgills to eat, not the end user.

We are so lucky here, the Drivers, especially Stuart are wonderful.
They have a cheery word even in the darkest dismal days and cheer everyone up no end.
This is our experience on the 906 mainly.
