Not release ready

I’m not sure if evolution nutrition actually performed QA on this app. The app works closer to a beta or alpha release. When changing quantities the app requires refreshing three or more times to accept changes. Every so often logging of meals stops working until the app is forced closed and you login again. Swapping meal items does not work logically. Interface design has selection items placed too close together. The logic of app choices is akin to tarot card readings rather than concrete nutritional values. Too much to continue writing is wrong with this app.

Disappointed

The app worked poorly. I was told to use a browser if I wanted to it work. Several days were listed as the same day and I had to repeatedly deleted it and add it back to get it to updated 😫. If the app allows the day to be noted as “eaten”, it will not go directly to the next day once all meals are acknowledged as eaten. Poor food selection for swaps. Example: chia seeds are an option to swap for pork and beef sausage, cooked. Really?!?! Chicken is rarely listed and the items available as a swap are odd and do not match macros. I’m sure there is something I should add but that should do it. So sad.... has great potential.

If your a trainer & your care about clients success do not purchase

Horrible put together.
If you want help generating a meal
Plan based off macros you put together it’s ok. But it does not help you help
You client. New updates are horrible.

Too many glitches and incorrect food entries

I love the idea of this and appreciate the meal plans.

Unfortunately execution is poor. The app is extremely glitchy and you have to close out and restart it multiple times to get the food search function to work. In addition the food database is not well kept. It needs to be scrubbed and entries missing macros or having incorrect information needs to be removed. I can’t justify paying so much for a meal plan to then not be able to record my intake without problems.

Worst App I’ve used

This nutrition app is terrible. It’s slow and glitchy, minimal options for food and exercise selections, you can’t view your past entries, and you can’t see an overview of your day - just your “dashboard” and your percentage of food for the day (exercise never tracks on the dashboard.) It’s cumbersome and irritating to use, but I don’t have a choice because it’s used by my gym and nutritionist. App developers, please take user feedback and work on some improvements. Use My Fitness Pal as a benchmark.

Better, faster, easier

Finally and nutrition platform that I can depend on and my clients can use as well. Profession meal plans in minutes, love it!

User experience is bad

I'm sure this is a fine tool, but the mobile experience isn't quite right. Desktop (gasp) is a better experience. It's unclear if you are logging against today's meal plan or tomorrow. You can't track your weight. It isn't easy to edit an entry. Some of the drop downs take up way too much real estate on mobile. Honestly, my fitness pal does the same thing and the user experience is better.

Glitchy

The app is not functioning properly with the latest iOS. You have to repeat steps 10-20 times for it to allow you to enter data into fields. Constantly have to wait until I can get to a computer to log things which defeats the purpose of the app.

Worst Nutrition App I’ve Ever Used

If I could give this app zero stars, I would. Purchased a pro plan through my trainer and thoroughly disappointed. I’ve used many fitness apps and this is by far the worst one I’ve ever used. App is cumbersome with lots of glitches. I spent 20 minutes trying to log food in the other day only to be kicked out of the app with all of my food erased. There isn’t a scanner to add food and it doesn’t sync with my Apple Watch for exercise tracking. My 11 year old could have created an app that works better than this one. Don’t waste your time or money on it.

Lacking details about food and food choices

App is easy to use, the self help meal plans with a grocery list is very helpful, you can mark off the groceries as you go in the app or print it, you mark your food as you go so it calculates it for you but ....... as an example, if the menu calls for you to eat 1/2 of a peanut butter energy bar, it does not give a brand so you can choose that brand or something comparable and if you try to swap for something else, sometimes there is no options so your actually food intake will not match. I typed in peanut butter and not a single option came up!? Also I attempted to enter an exercise to log but I could not find some typical choices like strength training or bootcamp. Not sure how its setup to track. A drop down list style to pick from would be better rather than you searching you own ideas and not finding it.
