Worst rider support

I’ve been trying to sort my issue over 4 days now. Every time I need to explain the whole situation again over and over and nobody seem to care.
They keep sending me a link to verify my bank details which I’ve done all steps but in the last part it says unsuccessful. I’ve done all they've asked sent details over and over again , ID , prove of Account ownership and yet they haven’t helped me. I am waiting to get this sort it so I can get my money. There is not even one contact number to speak direct with them. Everything must been through email which takes a very long time for someone to reply and when they do it is always some stupid resolution option . They don’t even bother to ready the full email. My money is withhold until they can verify my account which I’ve been trying for days and they don’t seem to have a single competent person to deal with it. And keep asking to follow the procedure which is the reason why is failing every time.

Not great, not terrible…

So, the get directions/ go to address/ open default navigation whatever button does not work properly. You set it up in settings to open with google maps or Waze and then it asks which app to open… every time… THEN, you reach the customer’s address, only to find out that the map coordinates were wrong and that you actually have a few more miles to go. UNRELIABLE APP, boosts are in my opinion worthless and the pay is meh. At least make the app work as intended…

At least the customer service is ok. A bunch of really friendly human robots.

Terrible rider support

The rider support they give is awful. Rider support agents are always want to end the chat without solving the problem. Their only way to solve the problem is remove the order from you.
Restaurant pin points are always wrong. If you raise this point to the support they just do one thing remove the order from you and end the chat.

Not punctual

I had a delivery from deliveroo and application give directions to another location which is 11km far from original location. And when i was ask for extra money so from customer centre person ask me to finish delivery first and after delivery they are not giving me any proper answers and giving nothing for delivery.

Great company to work for until a few months ago!

When I first joined Deliveroo as a rider, it was busy and the orders I was offered was good and constant, until recently; a lot less jobs offered and when fee boosts are on, I am only offered 1-2 jobs per 1/2 hours, although it’ll show its Busy/Moderate. Secondly, jobs close by have a decent rate whereas the further you travel, most of the time, the rate isn’t worth it due to more time getting used up so you make less hourly. Great rider support and customer service but getting less jobs makes everything as a whole seem more negative than it is.

in ios why we cannot see the custmer location when the app get new order we just see only restaurent location

Bad deliveroo app

Now a days deliveroo app is not working fine. I have seen in apple I do not get the job but whenever I try to chat with support they have same copy paste reply.
I have seen many got the deliveries in front of me but I did not get the delivery from last 2 3 days. My phone is working fine, Internet is working fine, I am in the zone centre even than not getting the deliveries at least of 1 hour.
I am not sure what programme they fixed in their app algorithm. I also send the email but same copy paste reply.
Now deliveroo does not care about rider.

I WILL NEVER WORK FOR ROO AGAIN!

Guys, Please read this review seriously as every word is genuine. I’ve been working fit Deliveroo for nearly 4 years. In that time pay and jobs were average, not enough money without the other main delivery app Uber eats. Most drivers use both apps to make a daily wage, however I was content with one to get me through the lockdown until I realised some drivers had got paid thousands in IPO bonus and despite working through the whole thing I didn’t even get a thank you! To make it worse five days ago they accused me of being involved in an incident but won’t tell me anything but a date. My app has been offline for five days now, so my cupboards are getting empty whilst Roo play god. I’ve still had no response, so I’m running out of time to arrange a more suitable, permanent job where I have some rights!

Can you guys please make see exact address in goofle maps instead of the co-ordinates. It is super annoying, less efficient and irritating for the riders. Thanks
