Refer a friend section is missing
I can't find refer a friend section in the apps after the updates
Can u please make gps which guide us to restaurant and customer?like ubereats?we have to keep changing between google map and rider apps which is wasted alot of time.

We want the old pay back!!!
Deliveroo used to pay a decent money per delivery £4 per drop and you’d do about 5 deliveries in busy hours. But now they have recruited much more drivers and drivers not only struggle to get deliveries but the fee per delivery has also dropped you get some orders which pay £3.20 per drop. They have recruited enough drivers who will now take deliveries for all zones and work everywhere instead of working in your login zone which means that they can manipulate and control the pay and how far they send you. Also one of the biggest problems is restaurants always say deliveroo don’t give them enough time for the order so many times I spend 15-20mins in a restaurants for an order which is like £3.89 complete waste of time only because deliveroo don’t give the restaurant enough time and always send the drivers very early.

Mostly a great app!
App is great most of the time but it does randomly log me out whilst at work and has happened more recently. It never used to be a problem at all, never happened until after one of the most recent updates. It will log me out whilst I’m on a shift with food in my bag or at the restaurant about to collect an order. And then it causes problems with they restaurant/customer as they blame me (the rider) and I have been asked to take orders back to restaurants for another rider to collect. I’ve had to get directions and addresses from rider support before as well I’ve done this 2 years and never had this problem. I think it was better when the addresses used to be on the order so if the app messes up or the battery dies we can still use the receipt to find the customers address!!

Too many issues to list
The biggest one being - and please take heed and fix this as it’s already been raised within the app - that the customer address is the most important piece of information we need, yet it is in tiny grey font on a white background and the screen glare at night makes it virtually illegible without holding the phone 2 inches from my face. Big usability issues. I have offered my services as a software developer with over a decade of experience but they ignore that also 🙄

Worst experience
Worst experience when restaurant changed address and had to proceed with the order. After arriving at the restaurant the order was not ready and had to wait 30 minutes. The Deliveroo blamed me for the delay and told customer that I was holding the order.
It was completely restaurants fault but Deliveroo blamed everything on me. They don’t care about their riders and would insult and humiliate you.

Mixed bag
Calendar sync with iPhone doesn't work and shifts aren't updated once changed. Have to login multiple times with phone number and confirmation text way too often compared to the old app. Fees are variable, inconsistent and take no account of topology or routes that require folding back on yourself. There also should be a feature to give stats of your rides with distance, speed, average drops per hour etc rather than relying on strava. The login zones are always too small with the need to enter then promptly exit to go to the many restaurants outside the zone! Deliveroo should consider removing this need for a zone and instead just assigned logged in riders based on distance from restaurant and average response time to arrive per rider.

Really happy with it
As a student I really enjoy riding with Deliveroo. Having a busy schedule it’s often hard to combine making money to pay for expenses with exercise, which is important for me as I sit in front of the computer for a big part of the day. I really like that I am not limited to a rota, as I can work whenever I want and for how many hours I want. I really enjoy the app as well, as it’s easy to book shifts and it also links to your calendar so you can check your weekly schedule in one place 👍🏻
