Question
Is this an IoS only app?
Unintuitive UI and buggy
I don’t even know where to begin on the UI. Though you can get used to it after a couple weeks of use, this app is very unintuitive. You have to jump back and forth between pages while filling out a single ticket. Boxes don’t auto-fill with information that would be SO easy for them to program in.
For example: you set a field ticket start time at the beginning of your shift, let’s say 12:30PM. By default the end time box automatically jumps to 12:30PM. Then you work for 7 hours until 7:30 PM, with multiple haul tickets in this timeframe on the same Field ticket. You then have to jump back to the first page before submitting and set the end time of the entire field ticket to 7:30 PM.. WHY on earth doesn’t the app just auto-fill the field ticket end time to 7:30PM. It already knows that my latest haul ran until 7:30PM... but no, by default the end time on the main haul ticket still says 12:30 (zero hours) until you jump back multiple pages to change the field ticket end time.
Another issue:
Lets say you enter a haul ticket and you select your start and end time. 12:30PM-2:30PM. You would think that the above option of “Total Time” would auto fill to 2 hours, right? Wrong. Even though your start and end time clearly add up to 2 hours, you have to scroll up and enter “2 hours” in the total hours box.
Another one!: theres no way to review or delete photos that you attach. So let’s say you made a typo on a ticket but don’t notice until after you attach the photo. There’s no way for you to delete it. You just have to explain to the office that there’s an attachment on there that they need to ignore, and they have to figure out which one.
As for bugs, when you select a box to enter information, the keyboard pops up on top of the box! You can type, but you can’t see the box where the text is showing up. Hopefully you don’t make a typo, because if you do you have to delete all text and start over because you don’t know how many words you are deleting.
